Not too shabby for a first Ludum Dare game! Welcome to the community! I personally loved the little bit of feedback with the slow turn and recoil of the gun; really made it feel weighty.

This was fun! I kept dying until I realised you could pay for shield repairs

This is a very neat experience!

What I liked: clear aim from the start, satisfying animations and recoil effect

What I didn't like so much: took me too long to realise that I could pay for upgrades and shields - once that was discovered I had triple fun!

Congrats on your first Ludum Dare! :fire:

Very impressive for 22 hours, and a lot of fun in general. I like the art and am a big fan of the simple audio. Challenging, but very fun!

Simple and fun game, it would be even better if we could move the tank. I like the sound and the interface. Great job!

I am a sucker for old school NES games. This game brings that notion in my head, it's tiny things like the explosion effects, the immobile tank... Well done ! I do agree a tutorial might be a nice idea, maybe you can write a nice one using Markdown, the game's LD page is quite empty ^-^

A very commendable result for your first LD. The core game play is simple and straightforward. If you want to work further on this game, you might:
- Improve productions (graphics, effects, etc)
- Improve the enemy AI a bit (currently it is not very balanced)
- Some UI improvement
- Add more content

Super impressive effort in just 22 hours, nice work. Could definitely use some balancing - probably an increase to fire-rate or damage per shot (of the player), or both would be a good start. I think it would also help a lot if the game curved into its difficulty rather than taking heavy damage really early - that way you could build up some savings as a buffer later on.
I enjoyed the power-ups, and I think they were a good inclusion to spice up the gameplay - exactly what it needs. I really love the concept of the mines, but I couldn't get them to work for me sadly.
