Space Gun Collector by Wakka2

In this space shooter game you start with no guns but you can get guns by ramming into enemies with ALT. You can get multiple guns but each one has only 14 Ammo.

Controls: - Arrow Left-Right: Move Spaceship left & right - Alt: Ram - Space: Shoot

I made this game together with my 14 year old nephew, it was his first game.

All Assets were downloaded from various sites, info is included in the README

the player doesnt actually need to press alt to be able to ram the enemy if the player doesnt press it and enemy hits them then it still gives the player the ammo, perhaps make this remove from the players health but still give them the ammo. i would also suggest upping the ship numbers at the beginning as it can be a little boring but once u get going the curve in the number of enemies is good

thanks for the feedback, I think too, that it's a bit boring in the beginning. Good idea to still allowing to take the gun but removing the health.

EDIT: We submitted an update with improved difficulty curve

I had fun with it, well done :)

Some background art would be nice to have and, as urasmellyduck said before, pressing alt to ram is unnecessary. You can just ram into a guy and it still counts.
