To store how many fish you have gotten go onto the ice platform .Use A to move to the left and D to move to the right. When you are underwater you can aim with your mouse to steere gunther. There is also a pause key (Escape). If you manage to get all 100 fish to the platform there is a "Cutscene" Hope you enjoy <3

If you can't beat the game or dont have time you can watch the ending if you click the link below(It's not as fun if you dont do it yourself!)

Changelog #1 - Fixed the camera so it was the intended size when fullscreen. - Added a single tooltip so its easier to know where you can find the controls. - Added a score that show how many fishes you have collected and not stored.(only a tiny bit chety.(shhh))

Really nice game. The only issue is the score didn't seem to update unless I died. To improve I would add higher value fish the deep you go otherwise the player could just stay near the surface. Overall great entry!

Really cute game. I really like your graphic and the music. I also had the problem that I couldnt really doge the sharks. The penguin died very often :(

cute graphics style! Sometimes it seems the whales don't always eat you? and maybe the blood is a little too much! Great job though, really nice all round.

It's a nice game but it tooks me several minutes to understand how to play.
Love the graphics and especially gunther death with so many blood lol.
Starting with keyboard and then mouse is confusing.
A tutorial would be welcomed.
After i understand the controls of the game, it was fun !

Sweet idea. It took me a while to work out what I was supposed to do though :P At first I spent about 60 seconds standing on the ice trying to not have it tip over, and jumping over orca fins, before i realised that I could dive down and eat fish. Then it took me another few minute to work out that I had to take the fish back to the ice :laughing:

Easy to pick up and play centred around a core mechanic. Like others said, my score would not update while playing and the performance of the game tanked when the blood particles were created.

like the others i had troubles understanding the controls, some gameplay problems too but the graphics are good.

@chickencastle @antraxxx @fenerax the scores updates when you reach the platform, and there are way more fishes the further down you go. if you pressed escape and go to setting there are controls. but maybe i shouldhave made that clearer :P well next time

Addictive!! Like it very much and your pixels are not jagged when i rotate Gunther, nice touches. If you keep working on it it will be great game for mobile. Good Job!

I wanted to balance on ice for some minutes. I waited for the whales to jump put or flip the ice. Then realized that I should jump in the water. It is nice game. Keys vs. mouse control was strange.

Günther the penguin torpedo has evolved a pretty fiddly strategy of fishing for dinner, so I fear for the species survival. Fortunately the short life he had was accompanied by really lovely tunes, so I'm sure Günther lived happy.

Pretty fun game, quite challenging to win. It wasn't very obvious what I was supposed to do until I read the info about the gameplay (which most people will probably miss), but the music and graphics are good and I love the ridiculous amount of particles :P

Great, like for others I didnt know how to score. After being eaten few times, I discovered that at the bottom is safer - it wasnt that difficult to go back on the surface and than I could see score update :D Nice job!

I got to 100 fish, but was eaten on the way to the platform. I wanted to see the cutscene, but the game is too stressful for me.

Art looks lovely, music is catchy. Very nice game. Cheers!

@ryzy27 Yeah got the balancing a bitt off, but you are a madman for actually getting 100 i have only gotten like 35... haven't had time to play it to much. Im glad you liked it <3

I like the concept and it's a unique take on the theme, not sure if this is a bug or not, but the game slows down a lot when I take damage, maybe that's due to the amount of particle being made. Otherwise, great game that's really addicting!

I originally thought the controls were a bit hard but I got the hang of them quickly and they felt good. Pixel art looks good too!

Neat idea for a game, simple and the graphics look quite good. I think the controls could use some work, maybe a bit more swimming control and a way to boost out of the water to make it easier to get back on the ice.

A really cool game with a great amount of polish! The difficulty could be tweaked a bit maybe(or maybe i'm just bad at the game haha)

The game has such cute graphics! Although it got bloody real fast when I got hit by the whales. The controls were a little hard for me, so the highest score I got was only 32 :").

The soundtrack and sound effects also fits the game really well! Overall, the game felt polished and I had fun playing it!

Really cool simple idea executed well and very enjoyable game out of it!
I love the penguin character!! So cute :)
I personally found the game pretty hard, which may be frustrating over time playing it a lot. It would be cool if there was an easy/hard mode selection atthe start :)

Hey, such a nice game! I adore the pixel art a lot, especially the little penguin :two_hearts: And I like the game idea itself, as well! Sadly I wasn't able to collect enough fishes, the orcas always got me. It would be nice if the controlls would drag a little less, that would make it easier to dodge at the right time. I've still been curious to see the cutscene, though so I watched your streamable link - And it's so cute, I wish I knew what happend next! :heart: Great work overall! :stars:

Nice music and pixel art! I think if you put a simple tutorial before the game start, would make it the gameplay better, because I had a hard time to figure out how to play!

Very cool art, it'd be cool if the fish were a tiny bit bigger, it was really tough to aim at them, maybe some sort of dash/fast turn with keyboard would be cool.

@saulo-rosart I have a tiny pop up window when you start the game that says you need to go to seeting to see controls, everything you need should be there. i also wrote it on here and on the itch.io site. but i will try to improve that. maybe make a controlls button instead.

@massassen The thing is: most people don't wanna go to a menu and read the tutorais, they want to learn by playing. That's why ingame tutorials are so powerful.

@saulo-rosart personally i hate them, there is really only one thing that is kinda hard to figure out and thats that you have to go up to store the points. but if you have a tip on how i can show them that without being annoying i would love to know. Thank you for your feedback <3
