What a great game mechanic! The main character's design is also very cool! I would suggest changing the controls for the eyes to 1-4 as that is a bit more easier to hit while moving. It would also be nice to indicate which eyes were closed with a simple eyelid that toggles over them. Overall, I was very impressed with your level of innovation! Well done!
