A Quiet Realm by Tobias Froihofer

[raw]
made by Tobias Froihofer for Ludum Dare 45 (COMPO)

Explore and clean up the universe for a mysterious unknown entity. Visit many different planets but be aware of falling meteors. "Now look at the ... mess(???) you have created."

It basically is a game about exploration or a hunt for a highscore. I would not expect anyone to visit every planet.

Controls 'WASD' or the arrow keys and E. No other keys needed. You will need your mouse to navigate through the menu though.

Tools used: Unity, Blender, FL Studio (and a bit of GIMP and Inkscape)

i personally would like to have a little bit more finer turning, i overturned alot when i went to cut the sheep. also you could add a trigger so that when you close to the planet it starts loading ahead of time, and then gives you a nicer smooth planet entry. other then that the game seems pretty playable and i could see this turned into something more.

This game's actually pretty fun, however, the turning speeds a little fast and when you eventually get to the next planet on the html version the lag was really bad, but other than that good game

Flying between planets takes too long, no turn off music button.

Very unique - like the off-brand No Man's Sky!

Very cool, I love the mysterious narrative happening. You should do that with a creepy portal type voice, would add alot to the mood and feel. Very impressed, I loved the rocket and flying around to different planets.

I'm wanting to do something similar in 2D, that was fun

@locomule Do it :) I'm bad at drawing that's why I made it in 3D, but the concept was inspired by Globetrotters by Broken Rules (http://brokenrul.es/games/globetrotters/)

Very cute game! I really like the fact that you can see the other planets you can travel to while running around! Adorable intro sequence too! Good job!

Great game! Only got a few planets in but I loved how many there were. Flying could have been a bit faster -- that was a bit painful to get to some of the further planets. Additionally, it would have been nice to be able to go through the dialogue bits a bit quicker using 'E' as it felt a bit slow.

@stefanie-leitch Thank you. Good feedback.
I actually wanted to make it possible to skip bits of the dialogue, but somehow forgot about it later on. The pauses in the dialogue are somehow intended though, to make some room for imagination for the player. :D But I agree they are too long. Especially after the first playthrough.
