How to play

Keep your garden alive and well!

Left click to pickup an object, right click to throw, spacebar to just drop the item.

Should your tools get lost, hold down "Q" for about four seconds to summon them back to you.

Buy seeds and fertilizer at the corresponding boxes, sell harvested fruit at the box with the dollar sign. After planting the seed, keep the ground watered and fertilized to get the best result! You should also keep those pesky bugs away from your plants, got to fry them with your laser gun!

If you accumulate enough money, try clicking the workbench with a tool to maybe get some upgrades…

Detailed How-To's

Planting

seedBuy.png Buy seeds at one of the boxes, left to right: Potato (7 Money), Tomato (20 Money), Beet (13 Money)

planting.png To plant a seed, click one of the planters with a seed in your hands.

Selling

You can sell the fruit you harvest at the box with the dollar sign next to it. Simply click the box with a fruit in your hands, or throw it at the box.

Watering Can

To know if you have water in your watering can, pay attention to the robots light.

WaterInCan.png When its blue, you have water,

NoWaterInCan.png When its yellow, you don't, refill at the well!

wateringSuccess.png This is what a successful watered planter should look like.

Fertilizer

To help your plants growing, you should also keep the soil fertilized. Tomatoes flat out wont grow with out it.

BuyFertilizer.png Buy a bucket of fertilizer, good for four uses, costs 8 Money.

fertilizedGround.png Using fertilizer works just as watering does.

Throwing

By right clicking, the robot will throw the item its currently carrying. You can use this to save time by throwing harvested fruits at the selling box for example.

Dead Plants

deadPlant.png Remove dead plants by clicking them to regain the planting space.

Insects

lazzor.png Use the laser gun to fry insects before they kill your plants!

Upgrading

upgrade.png At the workbench you can upgrade your tools, just click it with the tool in your hand. Each tool has three stages. Watering can: Stage 2: 50 Money | Stage 3: 200 Money

Laser gun: Stage 2: 100 Money | Stage 3: 200 Money

Fertilizer: Stage 2: 30 Money | Stage 3: 50 Money

Upgrading tools (Right Click on the Bench while having enough Money) will greatly improve their performance. Water multiple planters or kill multiple insects at once.

It looks nice, but I had trouble with the game mechanics. Difficullt to figure out what should be done in the game. I can move around and control the tool, but that's it. The graphics looks nice though.

Pretty fun, Great graphics, and soothing music! Why can I run over my crops and they stay alive? Also too many screenshots on this page.(It takes too long to scroll down to the links)

Hey, the game looks really nice and is really soothing.
It took me some time to figure out, why the robot didnt pick up, what his "hands" are touching.
Maybe you could add that feature for Notebook players like me :)

Really neat idea, nice visuals and concept. My laser gun kept disappearing into the floor!

The game looks good and I see that you had a good idea however might have been too big for a Jam. The game seem a bit laggy on HTML and I felt that it was a bit confusing on what I was supposed to do. I wasn't sure how I was supposed to protect the apple that I have planted. Overall a good start!

That music is way to calm, compared to how stressed my robot was :D
At one point my laser disappeard and it was overrun by ladybugs.

The game's relaxing atmosphere was nice and I enjoyed the robot's design. I think the visual feedback for plants growing could be improved. I found it difficult to tell what stage the plants were at and what they needed. It seemed like the same particles that indicate the plant is dying also indicate it's ready to be picked which was confusing.

great game! easily the best i've seen so far, one thing would be to add a sense of progression by making the enemies harder or unlocking more area as you go along.

This is fantastic, really well made. The movement of the character has a nice feel. It took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to do but once I got it it was addictive to play. It was funny how you can just launch the seeds across the map into the shop, and I found myself yelling "PICK UP THE GUN" like I was playing apex legends or something. Lovely visuals and music. Some sounds effects would be a nice thing to add. Also I think you should put a limit to how many insects can be spawned at one time. I got swarmed to the point where I couldn't even kill them as fast as they were spawning, let alone plant any seeds (see attached image). All in all though I loved this game, great work.

[EDIT] I played it again after reading the detailed instructions this time and it's even more well thought-out than it at first seemed. It's pretty hard to catch the seeds that the insects drop, I would maybe have them stay on the ground for a certain amount of time before dissappearing.
Also it took me until second playthrough to realise that you can just clik to drop fertiliser, rather than throwing the bucket of fertiliser onto the planter lmao. Maybe add a little popup UI element that sayd ("Left click to fertilise" and has a counter for the remaining uses, or something like that?" Great job!

Lovely farming game.

Collisions sometimes launch the robot into the air. It is often difficult to understand what the plant needs. The ground appears to be wet but skulls still appear and disappear when the plant gets watered.

I loved it! I got really into keeping my tomato farm alive, and had a blast trying to expand it while keeping all of the plants alive. A really fun game with great mechanics, and just enough difficulty to feel engaging without feeling punishing. Great job!

This is a pretty nice game and partly addictive and the robots are also a suitable variation for the all kind of farmers. Meanwhile playing the game feels more like doing a real work on to. Relaxing music is not the best choice for the background music, when there should get things to do effectively. I would like hear the 'beep-boop' sounds from the robot, and instead of looping background music hear some fresh nature sounds; like the wind sound and all kind of animals vocalizing, like from the birds to the crickets. Also, for the real and nice atmosphere, would be nice to see static moving shapes like the cloud shadows moving on the ground and leaves flying in the air. Also there should be kind of motivating tasks to still keep the farm going on; it not has to be an upgrade element or by other way effectively element for the game itself, but something which from you will notice your game process is progressing and player made actions leads into something concrete (e.g different locations, buildings or a farm expanding) Flying bugs are btw. fun element; they are not a nuisance until you'll plant something

@antaresvaldemar "It’s pretty hard to catch the seeds that the insects drop".

This was not intended, there was a Problem with the WebGl version of the Game.
We fixed it and now the seeds stay on the Ground.
Thank you for pointing this out.

Also there is a way to upgrade your Tools (right click on the bench with enough Money), that makes it easier to keep up with the Insects and to Water more Plants faster. Sadly we didn't have enough time left for a Tutorial or a nice Gui.

It was a really cute game. The controls were a bit difficult to understand at first but once I got it I was fine. The graphics are also really well done and look very good. Personally the robot was a bit slow but the could've just been your preference of what you want. But great job.
