This is a game made for Ludum Dare 46 - Keep it Alive

Revisiting the untold stories of the 3 Little Pigs, this story aims to capture the behind the scenery of 3 Real Investor Piggies (RIP) who take over the reigns of their previous mayor of New Pork Town.

Take the role of maintaining and providing support, curating the little piggies that you raise as your own in this town. Hire them for jobs, feed them, build homes. The possibilities are endless.

However, BEWARE the Baddy Wolf. He has a 50% chance of appearing on the ranch at midnight. Build legions of pigs to thwart away the evil plot of their arch-nemesis and keep a safe healthy city.

Game Over if the population of pigs reaches zero.

Hi, it is a nice story telling, have fine graphics. I cant here any music ot other side so. If there is not then its good to switch off rating for audio. Gameplay is very straight forward, the only thing is to click to contiune the story, I'm not that into this kind of games, though we have a similar gameplay in our game from last ldjam.

Try to play games of others, you may find some players for your game!

Hi @kate90 Thanks for your honesty. I agree it's not the most complex game, but I was very limited by time and thought a narrative, click-based game would be ideal to finishing on time. I am still working on the project and playing other developer games. They're far more enjoyable than mine but it's experience that counts. :smile:

Nice work. I appreciate all the care that went into the details with the artwork and the modernized three pigs story. You can tell you really were invested in their backstories and it comes through in the artwork and writing. After this is developed I could see if being popular with kids on phone or tablet. It is like one part game / one part interactive bedtime story. I liked how more of the story was unveiled during the building times but would have liked ever more of this content, especially during the one day wait for the hospital. Overall -- very imaginative work and it was fun to get lost in this world and feel like a kid again.

Very ambitious game. With a little more polish and some sound effects it could be fun for few hours.

I got stuck on part with getting money. I was clicking continue, but nothing happened. Not sure if it's a bug or that how much you have implemented.

@ryzy27 Yea, I forgot to add the win scene as a temporary placeholder. Also, up until the game finishes, the 3 piggies have been losing money hiring new workers. I still have loads more to add to make this more entertaining, but thanks! I love the time I spent making this thus far.
