Story

Humankind did not listen to Scientists, but to FoxNews, TinFoilHats and Repliloids instead. The climate disaster did take place exactly as predicted by the scientists and Iginitus Dead Paw wakes up from his hibernation in this dystopian world.

During his hibernation Ignitus Dead Paw has received some "upgrades" without recognizing. The upgrades were done by a odd shaman named Pingu Shaman. These upgrades were meant to help Ignitus Dead Paw during is upcoming mission.

Humankind did not change it's behavior even when facing the impacts of the climate disaster and continues to grow the economy using "clean coal" and "clean gas".

Ignitus Dead Paw dedicated it's life the fight against the destruction of the environment, or is he/she/it only hungry and clumsy?

Cool animations, even though they don't always seem to work correctly haha. At first my bear could only walk in air.

Nice graphics! The platforming felt a little clunky and I think there might have been a bug with the shop. It kept opening when I respawned and then immediately closing. I think I got to the shop at the end of the level but it kept closing on its own?

Liked the little story and the models, but got stuck under the map :)

Nice story and plot. Only the collision was misbehaving, you can stand on toxic ground while going forwards without a penalty. Animations were nice but did not work correctly. I think it could become a good game with a bit more work. Great effort!

I keep falling out of the world :( Really pretty 2d art though

I encountered quite a few collision quirks (The bear floating randomly on some of the icebergs) and I accidentally closed the tab twice while trying to crouch (Shoutouts to CTRL+W) BUT.. This is a /really/ pretty game. The bear's animations are SUPER sleek. Use of checkpoints was definitely a necessity. All around not a bad game!

Cool game idea, though quite a few problems with collisions and animations. Still good to play and is fun!

I really like the character model and animations! However I couldn't get through the first gap, my crouch wouldn't work? Another thing I noticed was if I died, the fish I'd collected would remain as part of the counter! Shame I couldn't get further, the game looks great!

I liked the artstyle but the game felt a little empty. I liked the aesthetics, the animations and the fact that the game had a little story.

I liked the narrative... But the collisions weren't working correctly and choosing the CTRL command to crouch was a bad decision (at least when you play it in the browser), I couldn't use it without making the page bookmarked (CTRL+D makes that)

Like other players, I had also problems with the controls and collision detection an so on. The bear walked in the air, got stuck or fall out of the map. So I couldn't realy play the game. :-(

The graphics are great, but I found myself getting stuck on the levels due to weird collision. Other than that, I thought the story and the characters were cool! Nice game!

weird choice in the keys, every time I had to crouch my Mac was changing to the second desktop ahahaha the graphic looks good but the code and collision might need some refinement. Well done

The art style certainly was cohesive, which made things easy to follow. You could streamline how collisions work so that the block placement doesn't constantly stop you (like on the roof, for example), which would make the fun-to-use (and watch thanks to your animations) dash even more rewarding, because you could keep running for a while as well. You could also use the dash as a basic attack, ramming into guards before you have upgrades. Also had some scenarios where the level reset, and I wasn't particularly sure why, but I think the theme and animations were interesting and fun

I really like the art. sometimes the animations seem not to trigger in the right moment such that i was confused about the crouching mechanic and additionally I accidentally closed my firefox browser tab with crtl+w. i reached the green line and found a shop with upgrades but respawned a few seconds later at the security camera. and an option to skip the intro would be nice. :)

A really nice looking game, unfortunately the controls are a bit badly chosen, since ctrl+d apparently creates a bookmark. But at least I will always find this game again! I feel like the leves were a bit too confined, I think instead of a crouch mechanic you should have focused on a combat mechanic. Because if I think of an mechanically enhanced icebear I think less of him crouching to get through tight gaps, and more about him ripping people apart. But that's just my opinion.
Either way, this is a really solid entry to the jam with a lot of content!
