Nice concept, the execution is not bad either. The enemies got stuck between the walls sometimes. Expected to upgrade my towers to defend better but I think there isn't anything like that. Overall the game is fun to play. Well done!

The cannons are upgraded when the player's XP level increases

I like the physics and feel. You can actually block the path with yourself. LOL

Tower defense with hero. Well done. The only problem I don't understand how to survive longer.

But very polished game with tutorial and UI.

Great entry and lots of scope for replayability. I really enjoyed the soundtrack too.

The AI of the enemies kept getting stuck and I somehow got negative gem thingies so a few bugs that need ironing out. A few more sound effects would've been nice such as shooting or enemies dying. I liked the music, it sounded really nice. The game play was solid and it worked in the theme nicely. A job on the game!

All the components are very well tied together, but it's a little hard to tell what's going on.

It might be worth tying more of the tutorial text to ingame event, like explaining level ups when they happen, or discussing water and health after the first wave, when you can see how they've changed.

And possibly having shooting repeat if you hold down the mouse button.

I would have destroyed my mouse if i didn't have a rapid fire button :)

I feel like the watering mechanic is underdeveloped, too hard to fail due to lack of water. Movement should be encouraged more. I was finding myself in the center all the time.

Nice game overall! I thought the music was a bit over-bearing though, and the lack of sound effects was pretty noticable, I think that would have given the game a better feel. It also would have been nice to be able to just hold down click to fire, rather than having to click constantly. Just as a test, I sat there and let the enemies beat up on the tree (I was at level 3), and it took them forever to actually kill the tree... so the difficulty level was pretty low (not necessarily a bad thing, but just something to note).

Overall: A cool idea that I think would be more fun if I didn't have to click so much.

Fun: It's a really fun idea. However, in the end I found that the biggest part of the challenge is clicking fast enough. I set up a macro to click multiple times for me and that helped, but I still only lasted long enough to water the tree once. The "fetching water" aspect would be more interesting if the wells were further away and the tree's max water were much lower (say, 10 instead of 100). As it stands, I don't find much incentive to leave the central area. I'm a bit lost about the way the gems work - when do they take effect and why can they go negative? Also, the towers are cool but seem a little tacked on without some way to interact with them - maybe upgrading them or telling them what to target.

Innovation: Sure, I think it's original gameplay.

Theme: Yes

Graphics: Pretty good!

Audio: Good. I really like the music!

Humor: N/A?

Mood: Pretty good as established by the music.

It wasn't clear to me how to water the tree - standing next to it did not seem to do anything, neither did clicking on it.

Since this was mad by a team, you'll have to add them to the "JAM by". currently only @shikto is listed there. I liked how the game was played, but it felt too 'easy', Probably because of the lack of sound-effects. If you added some tree-rustling or something similar to when the tree is damaged, it would really help. Also, what is the purpose of rounds if they just start with a tiny delay without even waiting for the previous enemies to be killed. And the enemy AI is very stupid(it gets stuck in walls!). But nice game overall!

The game is very challenging, especially the enemies are too fast and need also to water the tree. I have fun playing it. Good job on finishing the game! And the sound is nice also!
