Ça représente bien ce qui se passe dans la tête d'un joueur d'échec qui à tout perdu mais qui essaye de se rattraper et qui ne lâche rien ;).

The idea of defending another piece (the king) reminded me a lot of the game I developed, it's also a shooter of escorting someone.
The feeling and the game experience are incredible, congratulations.
-- I think the enemy spawn amounts were a bit too high, and could generally just rush to the enemy king rather than having to keep back and clear the waves. I do wish it had leaned more into the spooky theme with the music it had going.
and then last of all the best surprise of them all was when you introduced the Bishop because at first I kept getting killed but then I realised that they can only stay on one color so I moved the king to the other color and the bishop couldn't do anything!
I was also kind of expecting the black queen to be waiting for me fully decked out with a machine gun and a pawn army ready to f my shit up. so I was a little disappointed.
As a minor note, I almost just dropped the game at the start because I didn't realize that you could move the king! that's on me to some extent but maybe really make sure you tutorialize the player so that idiots like me get it :)
but this was fantastic, good job guys!
Really nice game, I had lots of fun with it!
- The level design was really cool, I always looked back to see if we don't gent ambushed!
- Also huge shoutout to the cool enemy design!
Cons:
- The constant cinematics in the beginning to show where enemies come from bother me a bit, it took me out of the gameplay.
- Sometimes the enemies went directly past my king, seemed buggy.
May be you can improve it by make enemies die quicker abd less a bullet sponge. Also adding more feedback to the weapon. But overrall it's really cool idea and very well executed

- la sensibilité ralenti beaucoup quand on vise (c'est quelque chose que je désactive dans tout les jeux personellement)

Needs some polish here and there but still looks and plays nice.
I loved the cinematics and how the opponents actually moved like the chess pieces.
Overall it felt verry good to play!
