I love how different foods give different attacks!

The different food giving different attacks is a really amazing and clever mechanic! Having to switch up my playstyle every time I go to engage with the core loop helps keep an otherwise very simple game engaging and interesting. Well done!

Damn that game was hard I never managed to last even 2mins.
The idea to also use the food as ammunition is fun and the different attacks really encourage to try every item. That was really a great idea :thumbsup:

I killed myself a lot at the beginning as I didn't realize that some attacks also affect the player. Also potatoes and coconuts are the best! :D

Very neat looking game you got there! I really dig the art-style that you used in your game and I think it makes the game feel really good to play. The different attacks for the different food was also really cool and clever. Though I feel like the game might be a bit too harsh with how easy it is to die versus how "weak" the weapons felt.

Love your art style (it reminds me of illustration in books for kids, absolutely wonderful!). Your game is really refined, good gameplay and movement, different enemies, and of course - food giving different possibilities of attacks. I even mostly were focused on collecting items to try new attack effect than to feed my buddy xD

Really cute game, especially the art style which is pretty nice! I love the fact that you have various weapons at your disposal, and the trade that you have to do to use those weapons. However, the weapons were not always effective and it was hard to know when a hit would kill a foe or not. Good job anyway!

I really like the hand drawn art in this game. Movement and jumping feels great. But the difficulty is really high! Navigating through a screen full of monsters and feeding your buddy at the same time is hard, but probably intended?

Idea: Would have loved some kind of level progression with each level getting harder.
