Had a couple questions:
How did you decide on the pattern for the players special "block moving" ability? Seems quite specific and was wondering if there was a technical reason for choosing it.
Also what is the animal powering the hospital bed at the end? Giant hamster? Apologies if it isn't meant to be a specific animal.
Overall story really spoke to me so thanks for that.
I'm guessing it's intentional, so nice touch with the bottom of the level being out of view. I think I understand that as a metaphor right?

@samdwester :hamster: Yes! Although some players have considered it a hot-dog! :hotdog:

@bereg Thanks! I'm really glad you could reflect upon the themes in the game. That's what makes producing stuff like this worthwhile.

@lesinvisible The intro was shot with [PlayStation Eye](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_Eye). I converted the video to GIF-format, cut a lot of excess-frames and made it loop.

To make the typewriter rotate, I placed it on this chakla/chapati rolling-board. The audio you hear during the intro comes from the board too.
One could achieve a similar result with frame-by-frame stop-motion, but obviously this method is faster.

@jam373 The pattern of the "orb-skill" was a result of some experimentation when I was preparing my [base-code](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/i-cant-get-anything-done/some-thoughts-about-the-base-code), and the end-result was something I enjoyed myself. Originally I made it because I had to figure out a way to move boxes that get stuck in corners. But then I realised that you could also use it to stack them! At its current state the mechanic does the job quite well.

My intention was to develop it further during the COMPO and give you more control over the orb (such as shooting it downwards), but didn't get around doing that. Who knows, maybe I will utilize the mechanic to a greater extent someday!
The animal running in the wheel is supposed to be a hamster :hamster: , but I drew the whole hospital-scene in less than a hour so it looks somewhat silly.
And I think I just forgot to put a tile in the bottom-right corner. But I guess the end-result pleased me enough, because I forgot! Admittedly it would also work as a metaphor in the overall story.

I'm not sure what the end was all about but still liked it. Love the Hamster/Hot-Dog ;) haha
The only thing is I'm not sure that I got what it was about :D
Wow, the cutscene FMV was stellar! Pretty mind-blowing and really put across an immense feeling of dread.
I enjoyed the main mechanic a lot and I hope you make more content with it in the future. I did struggle a bit with the very first part (I didn't know what to do with the blocks), so perhaps a little more onboarding could help. The 2nd part was really cool though with the funky elevator, then a little nod to the ludum dare theme, and then "the pit".
The ending was very whacky, I would have loved to see another FMV! In fact, you should definitely consider making a purely FMV game, you got talent that's for sure!
Cool game!

*By the way, thank you for playing our game and the feedback (we fixed the game-breaking bugs if you would want to try again! Cheers).*
FMV stellar, music very much fitting and unsettling, the ending seemed a bit abrupt to me, but the experience as a whole was great! Thank you!
I think we said pretty much everything we wanted to in the VOD, but just to reiterate: We like what you have going on here! We may worry that the audience that might play it in a jam setting might not necessarily be the people that vibe with it the most, but we always appreciate it when a creator takes risks and attempts to make something personal and unique. Mad respect for that!
