My Pet's Dungeon by N.O. Games
My Pet's dungeon is a Dungeon crawling RPG with your new pet. Unfortunately your new pet seems to have no regard to safety at all and would likely run into the dungeon no weapons, no protection and most importantly no plan!
To make sure your new friend doesn't die immediately there has been a shop stationed outside the dungeon with all the essentials like: Broad swords, potions and of course pizza!
Now for only 8 gold!
Where was I oh yes... If you don't have any money don't fret the shop has a very lenient policy on selling Items. They'll buy anything including that bit of slime you carry in your bag for no reason.
If you need to get Items just go through the dungeon and kill some of the monsters that lurk there. Although I do need to warn you that improper extraction time (flee at the right time, I like sounding smart) may end up in a swift and unjust death for your friend.
Unfortunately your pet doesn't like running away and will sometimes ignore your cry's to flee and keep fighting in these situations we advise a dose of steak to keep your pet happy. Happiness does not only keep your pet from dying after IGNORING YOU FOR THE FIFTH TIME!!!! sorry got a bit carried away. An increase in happiness will cause your pet to be more effective during battles.
Thank you for reading this explanation on how your pet is going to di... I mean thank you for playing this game I hope you have fun. Tip: When you enter the dungeon your pet gets happier so fleeing isn't that bad, most of the time.
Change Log: Fixed shop buttons.

Edit: Just finished the game in probably record time, I won and died at the same time lol
Its a little hard at the start as you have no idea what the items are and you don't really have time to read the tooltips.
I'd also like the buttons to be a little more obvious, maybe resize the Sell/Equip buttons. Also might be nice to be able to read item descriptions before buying them.
I really like the feel of this game and was an enjoyable experience, thank you, good work.
p.s I love that music, what did you use to make it?
At first I found the game a little confusing. I couldn't figure out how the fighting worked - if I had to do something to attack etc. After a couple of tries I figured it out.
When I did figure it out, I found it very hard. I died rather quickly because I couldn't afford food. Seeing as the pet's lifespan is so short it might've been more fitting to just give the pet a random name.
I really liked the names for the enemies though. I chuckled at Oliver The Skeleton.
Also, when you die the enemy keeps pounding away at the poor little pet :(
Overall, this game is one of the games I will remember when LD46 is done.
Congratulations on the entry :thumbsup_tone1:
:purple_heart: :dart: :frog:
Otherwise, pretty solid and addictive.
On the flip side, mashing the flee btn can get frustrating
I would suggest randomizing the dungeon a bit, I think now it's always slime, slime, skeleton etc. and you can fight the easy slimes, get 4 coins and flee (or at least try to ;) )
I don't get some of the thinks, and why my pet is attacking faster each time i enter the dungeon.
Very addictive, just more dungeons and pets and you have a very solid game.
Great audio, great art, great idea, great theme, great monster variety, great fun.
A couple things I would want to see on 2.0:
- I want to see item stats on shop items
- A little better understanding of the flee system
- Save my pets name from play-to-play so I don't have to keep naming it with my wife's name LOL
- Expanded version would be great to include more items, and pet "upgrades"
Cheers!
Jokes aside, really nice game (though it's reasonably a bit exploitable). I enjoyed the game and the music was nice too

1 - Mechanics, Learning and Flow:
Very interesting and (a little) fun to also be responsible for these "pets" that enter dungeons.
Unfortunately there is little feedback on items (it would be nice to have a side window that tells you what the item is for before buying or selling).
Learning to play was a fun process. I want to return and play more.
I had trouble escaping the dungeon after I passed the "giant". I don't know if this is on purpose (because it went too far or because it has a lot of load) or if there are any bugs in the game.
The flow of the game starts as something very challenging, then we get used to playing (it all seemed good, I felt quite immersed).
Unfortunately the song stopped playing after a while. I don't know if this is only for the HTML / Web version.
There are some things that I did not understand well, apparently the "pet" does not like to take medicine to get cured, but he likes new clothes.
I was very happy to be able to name the creature.
2 - Graphics, Audio and Narrative:
The graphics are extremely simple. Most of them are sufficient for the purpose of trying the game (with the exception of some items that I was unable to differentiate well, I don't know if it was a boot (or not), I don't know if it was a cookie (or not)).
The audio was interesting a priori (I missed continuing to work). Something with a sound effect would also be good.
The narrative is not the focus, so there is not much to talk about.
3 - Culture:
Taking care of pets and entering dungeons are very interesting and fun things.
I believe that the game can be polished and evolve into something bigger (with different game modes).
4 - Monetization:
In my view, with several game modes, graphic polishing and sound polishing, the project could be sold in stores like itch.io and others of the type. This is if the team is interested in continuing.
Also the music was excellent! Great job on that. Good effort for even making a different song for the theme. I just had to stick around in the theme menu until the track was over! Both tracks are really good fits for the game mood as well.
