Really nailed the theme here. Game was fun. I TRIED TO KEEP THEM ALIVE BUT WHO KNEW JUGGLING BETWEEN 5 PLANTS WERE HARD!! A little on the stranger side, but made for some laughs. Art was enjoyable and seemed polished. Great game simple concept

I mean the gameplay is literally just clicking, but the art was cute and the idea was fun. Fits the theme quite well too because it does feel like you are frantically trying to keep the plants alive.

When I lost the first time... I wanted to try again because I wanted to see what new plants there could be... but then I didn't want to try again because I would have to do all that clicking again while listening to the kiss sound. Great visuals and interesting creatures!

The art style is amazing and the theme is really suitable. The concept is strange but quite funny.
Technically speaking, the hitboxes seems a little off. I guess it is due to the screen resolution that is not fitting the web view size.

The art and the sounds are pretty funny and great. The font on the game makes it really hard to read the texts. After I completed the game I skipped the final screen because I was clicking furiously on the plants to keep them alive. ):
Maybe you could make the final screen "unskipable" for at least 2~3 seconds so people won't skeep it unitentionally like me.

21. Apr 2020 · 02:03 UTC
The pot on the far right was a bit hard to click as it was partly behind the pot in front of it. This had a nice frantic pace. You constantly have to bounce around the screen and be on the lookout for what's about to bite it.

Ahhh this is great, love the art, love the genre subversion. Warms my heart (and creeps me out a little) complicated emotions! I'd love to see this built out into a bigger game with a couple other mechanics, like maybe rubbing them with oil or shining sunshine on them - perhaps explore holding down the mouse and dragging over them? Either way, fantastic game! Thanks for making it :)

What on Earth did I just play lmao, is this what polyamory is like? I didn't want to kiss that weird looking carrot tbh, but my wish kind of came true, because through my hectic clicking I must have clicked whatever button brings you past the "You win!" screen, so sadly I didn't get to see what happens at the very end :(

Quite the weird game. The gameplay sure could be improved, I think there could be more interesting challenges than adding more plants. The premise is ridiculous and funny, though. Quand même, j'ai eu plaisir avec votre jeu. Bon travail et merci beacoup

Well, that was an unexpected ending.

Some feedback:
Given how often I clicked each plant, the kissing sound effect got annoying very fast. It would have been nice if variations of the kissing sound effect were selected randomly and played. It would have probably been interesting if mid-way through the game, more than one new plant were introduced.

Also, the cutscene where the protag and plant kiss was a little confusing, because one could still click on the plants at get the kissing sound effect. This made me think the plants were still dying in the background, though careful observation revealed time pauses during these moments. I feel these pauses could have been better communicated visually and interactively, e.g. by plopping a full screen background like the ending, and preventing interactivity with prior plants.

The art was good but the game size doesn't scale so it crops if the screen is small. The kiss concept was a bit strange.
Rongefilet
23. Apr 2020 · 16:53 UTC
Not sure how you came up with that concept but I'm grad you did. I especially liked how it rapidly transition to almost a rhythm game with mouse precision involved, but those cutscenes though, each time I was wondering if I shouldn't just let those disgusting things die ^^". Great game, congrats!

I really love the art style and the color palette! Kinda reminds me of the book "Good Omens" by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett where Crowley scares his plants to remain healthy. I know I have cried over a dead plant before so I can relate to this game! Sometimes they need a bit of extra love! Ha Ha! kinda creepy and cute at the same time.

Très Adorable! I thought the concept, art and music were very charming on this one (if, at times somewhat disturbing). The gameplay was, sadly, just a little bit on the thin side. I would have really like some extra dynamic that changed the interaction somewhat, as the game is pretty much solved once you can cycle through the plants, which is easy enough. A very short but sweet entry. Thanks for the game!

The music and art give this a very unique cute atmosphere. The plants were a little creepy which made a strange contrast (in a good way). The concept is pretty funny! Mechanically it is missing a bit I think. Some variation to add challenge, maybe needing to click on specific leaves on the plant or something. I also missed the final cutscene because I was still clicking when it appeared, and it skipped the ending picture. Thank you for putting those pictures in your description here!

It's a funny game even though the title actually is really easy to misunderstand to some weird things😂. I like the sound effect and the girl graphics. It should reflect so quickly at the end of game and I actually cannot cover all the planets in the end, that's so hard.

That was so hilarious and so creepy  It can happen that you accidently skip the final cutscene when you're clicking in raging love  And I think it isn't displayed correctly on 1600x900. But I loved this. So creative, and such a lovely art style!

Hilarious concept, and I loved the visuals and art style. I think I found a way to cheese the game though. If you just click the new plant, it'll eventually grow and then you get the cutscene and can reset all their timers. Also I would've liked some other button or key to restart the game, since players are already clicking the mouse like mad and it was very easy to skip the ending screen with a unintended click.

This was the weirdest game I've played this LD. Not sure how to really respond to this as it's so 'out there' as a concept. I guess the art and music were well done, and the game didn't have any bugs that I could find. Perhaps my only complaint is that it's perhaps too easy and too short.

So bizarre, but I loved those plant designs (the skull plant has my heart). Definitely second that comment on mixing up the sound effects a little, as repetitive noises can become annoying. Sometimes the clicking was not as specific as I would have liked, and that lead to a brief moment of panic where I thought my plants were going to die - but, that's what it's all about, so things were good on the engagement front. A strange but diverting little game. Well done!
zondarg
28. Apr 2020 · 23:10 UTC
That was strange but fun. It was a bit hard to hit the correct plant after a while, so I clicked (kissed) but the second from the right kept losing energy and died. Nice music by the way! Good game!

I love the organic feel of this game! The painted art style and the real recorded music both work wonders for a game about growing plants. This game has a really strong mood, and a lot of humour.

I'd love to see a longer version of this game, perhaps with some more plant varieties and something to spice up the gameplay. I can't get enough of the strange, scary yet cute art style. Merci pour le jeu!

I really adored the oil/dry pastel drawing style. Each plant is different and definitely unique, which gave me something nice to look at to compensate for a very simple gameplay

It is a very nice jam job!

One thing I noticed is that the plant on the right in the second row can be a bit hard to target when it's tiny (as so much of it is hidden behind the plant in the front. It's completely fine when it grows up though.
