Controls

Left Mouse Click to Jump

Pro-Tips

Don't try to double jump, try to make mini jumps to positionate and adjust for larger jumps

About

This game was been by only one person, all the assets except Debussy's song, in about 15 hours...because making a gamejam with my daughter was REALLY complicated. I had to work when she took a nap etc. It was fun though !!cover.jpg

Long Run Video

For lazy people or not "try harder" (because the game can be buggy too) here is a long run of my LD45 game " Consciousness in a jar" ! Have fun ! https://youtu.be/fOrPWaaxF7s

Very nice game ! Sometimes quite frustrating, but maybe it's because I've got -4 on my dexterity dice at my birth.
There's a little of a lot of things that can make you like a game and a lot of them are in there :D so it's a big YES

This game is gorgeous, and super inventive, had me hooked - moving the letters around near the beginning was unexpected and got me immediately invested in the mechanics. Really cute, congratulations.

given the fact that you got 15hrs because "Parenting", and you managed to finish the project is an achievement. Upon that this game achieved a tender mood style helped me relax a bit, and subtle music, ...well, Happy Devving and oh, Happy Parenting too! Its quite a good one. :D

Nice game, took a bit to get used to the jumping, but it was quite easy to control once I got the hang of it.

Lovely game. Wish it was longer and had more of the humour displayed at the beginning before the more serious parts show up. Also, lots of the dialogue get repeated when colliding with the same character more than once after the character resets from the beginning of a level, which is a bit of a bother. Nice story, though!

...Didn't die when landing on the spikes? Supposedly a bug?

First time the graphics didn't appered, second and third time I was stuck in the ground and wasn't able to move. Seems like a nice game from what I saw in your video, unfortunately since I can't play it, I can't rate it :/

This is one of my favorite Ludum Dare games I've ever played to be honest! The production value was out of control, art and music were both lovely, it had a great style! The humor at the beginning was very nice and the more somber tone towards the end worked well considering there is not much time in a jam game to have a longer transition.

The breaking free mechanic at the end worked well for tone and still had a great production value and transitioned really nicely into the chalkboard style. The platforming was a bit tricky in the final level but I guess that it to be expected, it took me much longer than the other levels to get right without accidentally overshooting or undershooting.

Either way this was a wonderful entry and I enjoyed it greatly!

This is a really nice entry, I love the music, it sounds very familiar. The surprise at the beginning is great, and the jump mechanics work really well. I love the character design and the chromatic aberration post processing. The polish makes this really feel like a completed indie game, great work!

Man that was beautiful, what a nice story!

Controls feel great, it was pretty easy to go around.

Got stuck here. Guess it's what ppl call a "corner case":smirk:

This is such an amazing game! I can really feel the passion and motivation that went into this game project. My only issue was that it was a bit hard to gauge how far jumps would go which made the final stage quite tough but I stuck through and I'm so glad I did. Amazing work on the game :D.
