The controls could be tightened but otherwise it seems like an idea definitely worth exploring further!

Some levels are to long with only one respawn point. Liked the art and the 60 horror movie wibe. Loved the player character!

Wow what a great idea, adorable fitting graphics, some pretty basic audio but it works. I had a little problem with the controls, did not like that you had to repress buttons constantly. It was a bit short, would have enjoyed some more levels but I know way to well how hard it is to fit everything in a weekend jam.

But the game idea is really excellent and fits the theme well, one of the best I've seen so far this LD.

Love the art and music and the feel of the platforming. I wondered if the "charge" move would be more useful- and it was! You taught me through play really well. Also, loved the care that went into the interface main health bar of the character. Thanks for the game!

This game is great! you nailed the feel perfectly, from the music, to the art, to the gameplay loop. I'd love to see an expanded version of this game with more levels and enemies. Awesome entry!

Cute entry. I loved the art & the core mechanic was really unique and cool. Would love to see more levels for it in the future. The controls could use some work & felt clunky at times + when you inhabit the "charging" bugs, they kept facing the opposite direction right when I gained control over them, which kept making me charge backwards.

Otherwise, solid entry. I made it home! :v:

Damn this is a good entry! I love the potential for clever gameplay here. I think the movement and controls need a bit of tweaking to feel right but this is great. You can so much cool stuff like taking over bigger and more powerful hosts, moving them around but keeping them alive to do stuff for etc. Also love the music hehe

Ahaha nicely done, I liked the graphics, and the way you can see yourself in the bugs you take over. Music was simple but effective too. I just felt like it could have done with one or two litte extra details, like a splatter when you fell off a cliff.

This was great! Game would have become somewhat dull without adding the charging beetle thing and the bat thing. They made it super interesting. Well done designing the levels with the strengths and weaknesses of each "creature." Sweet little jam game.

I enjoyed it, the idea is pretty original and the game was fun.

It would have been great if there was some kind of transition between levels other than just appearing in a new pool. Something like "Level complete", or a small black screen and a "Level X" when you get to the new level.

Other than that, an original idea que cool graphics? Bought!

Super interesting and well done. I liked how everything made sense with little to no instruction. I liked the mechanic of taking over the little microbes, could easily see that expanded out into more of a full game. Graphics and audio were perfect and fit the theme. Great work!

I really like what you did with the theme here.
Graphics, sound, and controls are a bit weird, but the game mechanics were really interesting.

I loved the pixel art and the main gameplay mechanic. The music was nice as well and set a good mood. I think the jump should have been a little higher cus I died sometimes only cus I wasn't able to reach a higher step. Also, some way to let the player know about the cooldown period at which the charging organism (I'm not sure what it was so just calling it that XD....) can charge. It's a great start, that's for sure. Nice job :)

This is a very cool idea. I really like the way that you can fit in the different types of ways to keep yourself alive throughout the level. Very innovative! Very nice job. Keep up the great work.

Beautiful art, music and design. I missed a little gameover screen or something that "punished" the player for the failure. But this is the game that I played that most fit the theme in LD46. Good job!

Great game! I liked the mechanics and mood. One minor thing that could've been improved is the camera/level design for level 3, I couldn't see below and had to restart a number of times to figure out where the platform below me was.

Nice! One of the more polished games gameplay wise that i've seen. Some pretty tight timings on some of those puzzles with a nice introduction to the mechanics
