Re-Slash by Croxel Studios

Idea
Exciting mix of hack and slash and puzzle game in which you have just a few seconds to move and attack freely before your body glitches out and gets stuck in a loop, repeating your moves over and over. You will need to kill every enemy to advance to the next level.

Instructions
Wait until the countdown finishes so that you can start moving. Then, as soon as you start moving or attacking, the recording period starts and lasts a few seconds. After that, your moves will start to repeat over and over. You will need to plan your moves carefully to kill all the enemies in each level.
Controls
- WASD to move
- Mouse movement to look around
- Left click or space to attack
- R to restart the level
- Konami code on level selection screen to unlock all the levels

I like the graphics and fluid animation. Great concept. I enjoyed every bit of the game, although it's a bit challenging.
It's challenging game with interesting mechanics but difficult for me. Anyway great game!

I played it on full screen and didn't realized that the very pixelated text was not made on purpose ! Other than that, I found no bug whatsoever.
Very well done, again. Keep up the good work !
I love big pixels, but a bit higher resolution would made the text more readable.
It Gets hard quickli (Not that its a bad thing  )
Also I would love to have something telling me how long I could record my movement for each puzzle, it could help!
Anyway really polished game and cool aesthetic ! Well done !
outstanding game with great theme impementation. I liked how collectibles make you think harder, but didn't want to spend too much time now. Some level requires understing, some are pure luck for me. GJ!
I'm not sold on the gameplay however, some parts are really frustrating: turrets sometimes kill you when aiming straight at them, enemies can slide in between your attacks and kill you, and the loop is too tight, making it hard to reposition yourself exactly in the middle of a tile, and if you don't it messes up the rest of your actions.
It feels like things that could be corrected with minor changes though, and doesn't take away the fact that you did an amazing job overall.

The art style is perfect for a game like this, the sound design felt just right. It took me a while to fully grasp the repeating time mechanic, but once you get it, it feels sweet. My brain really struggled to bring it all together, but when I finally completed each level I always felt super pleased.
Very great polish and a well scoped entry for LD. Great work!
It was kinda hard to figure out how long it recorded for in the beginning, but I quickly got a feel for it, so I actually think not having a timer works really well.
Also damn this game gets haaard. As soon as you have to move up and down, it's a whole 'nother level.
Great entry!
I actually got stuck on the first turret for a while. It was my fault because I thought you could kill the turret. So I actually sat there for a while trying to figure out how I could kill all 3 opponents lol.
I like that our games have a bit of similarity to them, where you can't just recklessly perform your sequence/combo, but have to think about the consequences of your spacing and timing.
Really solid entry, I expect this one to place high :)
The polish level is really crazy.
It's a little hard to take in hand, but that's okay.
I just think the learning curve is too steep, it would gain a lot from having levels that expose the mechanics to clearer handling or even a little bit of direction, but it's to be picky, everything else in the project is really impressive.
How many were you for this jam ?
good job!

Good job!
I feel the controls can be improved by providing more smoothness and feedback. The turns somehow feel a little detached from the character... But that could be my personal experience, since I've played with a touchpad, not a mouse.
It occurs to me than twin analog stick controls with a little smoothing might have worked better for me than keyboard+mouse.
Also if the interactions with the enemies (especially the arrow turrets) were a bit more forgiving so the focus were shifted a bit more toward the puzzle element vs the combat element it might have been more to my taste.
I really enjoyed playing the different levels, very good work!
Love the filter-effect a lot, the music is never outstaying its welcome (which is important for how much the player will hear it) and everything just felt really, really polished. Furthermore, the added challenge of getting the crystal was just a very nice gesture for completionists! Could see people playing this for hours on end just to get every single crystal!
Amazing job, thank you for making this game!
All in all, nice implementation of the theme. There were a lot of other games with a similar premise, but yours stood out due to the innovative twist. Good job!
