made by pikachurian for Ludum Dare 47 (JAM)

title screen6.png

You play as a steam powered robot with the ability to record clones and "loop" them. Create clones, pause them, platform, and solve puzzles to make your way through the game.

Controls wasd to move

      space to jump

      mouse to look

R to record and stop recording

      1 to restart the puzzle

TAB to pause and unpause the clones

      and C to clear clones

We didn't have enough time to add audio to the game but we made some music so we'll leave it as a download.

Concept is great. But you MUST add mouse sensitivity settings)) for me is a bit hard to control the screen with such sensitivity

We had really similar ideas! Enjoyed playing with it in 3D though, robot idea is pretty cool. Tutorial at the start was meant to be seen through the opened door or are you supposed to solve the first one without recording?
Anyway nice one :]

Gameplay was smooth, puzzles were interesting. The graphics are nice in their simplicity, and the robots are somehow adorable! Thanks for the entry

hey, well done for this game, the idea is nice, nut i was block at the door with the 4 pressure plates, because the Big case didn't want respawn.
And where is the ohter 2 boxes? On the top of the the tower ?
Also is damage there are not sounds but you are alone, it's hard...

@watermelonandme I added an update that fixes some minor bugs and brings down the mouse sensitivity a little. However, this update is only available in downloads as I wanted to preserve the web version as the original jam one. I plan on releasing another update soon to add an options menu to manually adjust the sensitivity. Thank you for playing.

@prostone If you are referring to the text that tells you how to move and look around. That text is supposed to be the first thing players see to help them learn the game. And yes, the first puzzle can be solved without recording. Thank you for asking.

@sockpuppetcow Thank you for your comment. We're glad you enjoyed the gameplay and the graphics. Did you check out the song in the downloads? We didn't have enough time to add audio to the game, but the song was finished so we added it to the downloads.

@danframe Thank you. If objects go missing try pressing 1 on top of your keyboard to restart the puzzle. The puzzle with the four square pressure plate requires you to use your clones. These plates can only be activated by boxes, and you only need four boxes to solve this puzzle. The giant gray tower is not meant to be climbed. We actually made this game as a team, one programmer, one 3D artist, and one musician. We didn't have time to add audio to the game, but we had a song ready so we included it in the downloads section of itch.io.

@thecreator We're really glad you enjoyed the game. We plan to release another update soon to improve the games visuals. The original 3 day jam version will always be available in downloads, and the web version is also currently the jam one.

@pikachurian Oh! I hadn't done that yet. Now that I've heard it, nice chill song that I think would fit really well.

It's a very creative game but it took me a while to get a hang of it. The copy/loop mechanic is implemented nicely but the tutorial is not very effective, I feel like you just have to try it until you understand how it works.
Also I liked the simple visuals, especially outdoor areas.
Great job overall!
