LÖÖPS by Tamail
The lööp pandemic is ruining the whole cat population - which didn't go unnoticed by their owners. They have a nasty trick up their sleeves! "You get stuck in the lööp of shame? Well, don't come begging for food until you lose it!"
Help those poor beings get back into shape so they can eat more of their beloved food!
(This is our small take on Cookie-clicker like idle games - packed with, hopefully, humorous exercise machines, motivational banners and, most importantly, story. Thank you very much for playing and rating!)

Done with Godot engine, Procreate, liters of coffee and few hours of sleep.
Nephirus - programming, balancing, game design, stupid jokes and the best coffee
Tamail - 2D art, animation, game design, even stupider jokes and playing with nerves

Wished if there were more decisions that I could make, other than that, you made a beautiful game:)
Well done for 72 hours!
(Also, is the music from some royalty-free site? It looks like you've opted out of Audio, but I don't see a source or anything)
Sorry for not getting back those 15 minutes!
Time well spent indeed. This is just hillarious XD
Will post results later.
Got all the upgrades after 40 minutes. Still can't find any secrets, though :(
4220 cats... that's a lot of lööps they've eaten...
I like the game, i want to spend the time to see what's next :D
The music is a real hook
you may have some lööps, bröthers!
I did find one useless feature though - "Mews on/off", who would want to turn off the meows?! :scream_cat:
But to not be so generic "Thank you for making the game" I will suggest some improvements:
* Add more upgrades, and some challenges, like time limit, idk
I will say for the art direction that you should keep your angles all pointing in the same direction alot of the art was giving conflicting directions of where things are pointing.
COuldnt for the love of me find those secrets though.
Please give my game a try as well ! https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/rewind-a-companion-cube-experiment
- Doesn't keep running when you switch tabs, and this being an idle game it probably should. I don't know how you would do that in your engine though.
- The art is good but the cats don't look like they belong in the same art style as the other assets, even the cat receptionist is in a different style.
- There could be more sound effects aside from the cats meowing.
But this is just nitpicking at this point.
Sooooooooo, I think I am ready to give a proper review now XD
I am totally not an Idle game fan, but this one had something that broke that.
Besides the fun animations for every upgrade it also has some secrets.
Overall a really fun and addictive game you should be proud of!
One thing that I would like to see are more upgrades, maybe a final one where all the cats work out time go divide by 2 or something.
Maybe a little more interactions with the exercise themselfs, like maybe click on them and the exercise time goes -0.05 per click.

I showed my team mate a picture of the "Brother may I have some loops" cat while we were trying to come up with ideas so I'm really glad someone made a game based on that

Music was great, perfectly fitting and not anoying.
Story was ok and funny!
I think this game deserves an ending after upgrading all the gym equipment, perhaps the cat receives lööps from its bröther? We might never know!

Absolutely hilarious game!
Nicely done.
Cheers.
Well, I hope you're happy, I upgraded everything fully, and I don't feel anything anymore :joy:
Cool game, plus cats, what's not to love? Definitely the most literal interpretation of the theme I've come across, and I ain't even mad.
Didn't discover any secrets tho :/
Good job! :cat:
all in all, a nice clicker/upgrade game that could use some steeper acceleration towards the mid game. I thought it was a little slow, but that's just my preference with such games. Still a good entry that fits the theme in a creative way :)

course mat ! your style and animation is really fun :)
I was hoping to beat the game to get some resolution to the original story, did the cat get his loops?!
