Crash Landing by Sharks

[raw]
made by Sharks for Ludum Dare 45 (JAM)

Story:

My tired brain didn't put the story anywhere in the game and thought everyone would instantly understand that this was about a robot crash landing when they heard the sound of a microwave beeping. That is not the case, so this is pretty important unless you want to be like "What. Just. Happened." at the beginning of the game. So the story is that you are a robot that crashes and you have nothing left in your battery except for a little bit of power in the reserves.

Game play:

Basically you run around 'solving' puzzles that I quickly put together in the last three hours of the jam. Also there are only three levels.

State:

Not my best LD. It's a neat little thing with promise I'd say but is in dire need of better graphics and the puzzles are busy-work at best, I'd say it's relatively incomplete, but seeing as I didn't think I would even have time to make more then the first level, it's passable. Most importantly, it's playable. Even if not that fun......

What went wrong?

SCOPE. For a LDJAM this was do-able, I just forgot that I only had 16 hours, and in that time, this was definitely not do-able.

Maybe i was doing something wrong, but there was huge delay in the controls, and my battery drops from 6% to 1% once i use the laser as the instruction pops up. I just keep dying as i walk from the first discernible object to the next. I get the perspective of a dying robot, but constantly hopping up and down with a blurry screen and delayed controls did not demonstrate that in a pleasant way

@ljol3 Hmn. Was that the windows build or web? Not my proudest project just barely pasable for "playable" Which is why I have'nt been checking in on the LDJAM website so sorry for the delay but...yeah.
