Welcome to Loopomotive, a game where you control a train that never stops!

Your goal is to not hit any cars while stuck in the loop. You can accelerate or slow down the train, but never stop it.

You continue to the next level when a pre-determined number of cars has made their way safely out of the screen. You can follow the countdown on the top-right corner. You lose once you hit a car.

The game has 3 levels, so try to make it until the end!

W or - Accelerate

S or - Slow down

We hope you enjoy the game.

This game is so cute and the style is very cohesive and well done. The code works well and the colliders hit perfectly. I do wish it were just a little more chaotic thought but i Imagine it would be more like that as the level progressed. Either way great game!

Friendly starting levels, reliable mechanics. Art is very polished. Well done thematic audio. Great feeling game here. I especially enjoy goosing it through intersections just in time.

Well done!

The graphics, artwork and animation are fantastic. I felt the level design and difficulty curve was lacking. Super cute plants!

That was pretty neat! The music was really catchy, especially on restarts, so I kept losing on purpose.

Really polished game and fun too. I easily spent half an hour playing it. Loved the cutesy graphics. The music was ace too. Pretty good on all fronts. And definitely didn't expect that collision between the train and the cars.

Loved the style and how you played with the theme! The music and the game come together very well, it's one of those games you could sit playing for hours like PolyBridge or Train Valley.

This game is addictive! It's so simple but really fun, and the graphics are so bright and playful without getting messy. The music as well was really nice, it wasn't too in my face and I felt it fit the theme and style of the game perfectly. The game controlled really great too, it was a nice balance of speed and it felt really easy to play, whilst still having some difficulty. The acceleration was just enough that I had to think ahead, without it feeling unfair. My only very minor gripe was I would have liked some indication that I was changing speed utside of just some small text in the corner, whether that's audio, a particle effect or just a more obvious visual cue, but that issue was so small it didn't affect my experience at all. I had a lot of fun, and would love to see this put out into the world. Well done!!

Wow. Great game. One simple mechanic polished very well.

Did you try speeding up the game? Levels take a bit long to finish, but I think it might be too hard if you make the cars go faster.

Art looks great. Always love some vector graphics :) I could swear I saw faces in some of the levels. And the song... Fits so well.

Btw. Why do you apply gravity after hitting car?

Cheers!

This game has really good graphics and a very neat thematic music. I really like the idea! I have to say though the difficulty is way too high, dodging cars is one thing, but having to do it 50 times is really just exhausting, especially as it doesn't really change all the while. Decreasing the number of cars for a level could help, but maybe a more forgiving gameplay could be nice too, allowing you to hit cars once or twice before you lose for instance.

Very nice entry anyway, the sloths are very cute <3

Beautiful game! And it has a gameplay that is hard to master. Just a tiny suggestion: Add some points for beeing faster or add a minimum amount of loops to perform. This would spice it up a bit. But after all, awesome work!

Amazing game! It has a simple, but very catchy mechanic, that makes you try more and more after each fail :)
Kudos for the graphics. Cool characters and consistent style.

P.S. We've discussed a looping train idea with our team, but eventually decided to skip it, since don't have an artist this time :)

The game is beautiful and the music fit the art. But guys, 15 cars is a lot for the first level :D ad having to redo it from the beginning each time we make one tiny mistake can be frustrating. Still, congrats for the entry :)

Hello Partners in the Train Business :D Nice game, very good graphics and you took the time to add audio! feels very smooth. But a bit repetative especially when you die at the end of a level and need to restart over.

The game is cute, and the artwork is a masterpiece. I like every bit of it - from individual sprites to the in-between screens. The only complaint is music, it's a bit repetitive, so it would be great to have an option to turn it off. Other than that, it's a great and innovative game. I had a lot of fun playing it.

I think in levels where cars appear so closely off screen, an earlier indication of when they will appear would help immensely when getting used to the flow of the game. Other than that small criticism I really enjoyed the game. The graphics are very nicely polished. I think overall you guys did a great job!

I loved it!

The art, animations, and smoothness of gameplay are on point. I loved the sound as well.
The goal is clear, everything is very understandable, and the feeling of progression is nice.
I really liked the idea of the train's speed dropping when you don't push a button, forcing you to always be active and not just look for the perfect speed and position and do nothing until the end.

I didn't like the right entry of the first level. It felt to random and I just rushed through it hoping nothing would come. I think it is placed to close to the track.
The 2nd and 3rd levels are awesome, but the number of cars needed to win is a bit too much for me.

Thanks a lot for the game I had fun 💕

Super cute game! Artwork is really nice, the music and sounds work really well, and the level designs are well done. One small suggestion would be to have more feedback for speeding up and slowing down such as acceleration lines and breaking sparks to really up the juiciness on the controls.

The visual design is absolutely gorgeous. Even the logo is great.

I got bored before each level ended, but I kept going to see what each level would look like.
Would love to see how it plays with a higher top speed. Maybe even 5x what it is now. And when it approaches the top speed it should shake and rumble and throws sparks as it turns corners. That would be thrilling. Then make the brakes better to balance it out.
Finally I would tied the win condition to a set number of laps rather than number of cars. To encourage people to go faster and take risks. Encouraging them to play the game in a way that is more fun. Just my 2c.
