This game was made for the Ludum Dare 46, the theme is "Keep it alive"

In this world you live surrounded by monsters, there are little monsters, big monsters, monsters with spikes, fast monsters, and more.

Your mission is to keep yourself and the car alive during all the path to the parking, you need to be more intelligent than them for be able to win the battle.

el juego esta bien supongo pero cuando inicie el juego por primera vez lo hice mal por que.. avance sin la estructura blanca

lo cual dije este juego no debe estar asi

lo juge denuevo y..espere en el primer mapa y la estructura blanca se movia la segui

Great job! you really nailed the feel of a good top down shooter and it felt great to play! I like how much enemy variety you managed to include as well. One thing to think about is that colors are important in games, especially when you are doing shapes for enemies so when I first played I got surprised by the green enemies thinking they were good. Otherwise amazing job!

Ah, this is pretty fun!

Feedback, if you're planning a post version: Having projectiles go through enemies and hit other enemies feels a bit off to me: it feels deliberate but does take a lot of the impact out of the game. The long delay with moving to the next section was a little weird too - it finally made sense in the red wave when the enemies were active during the transition - I think you should probably have done this all the way through!

Reminded me so much of some old paintball games! The power-ups really made the game and I had a lot of fun shooting and seeing that nice effects!

You have taken a very simple game idea and implemented it in a very nice way. With simple graphics and a nice soundtrack you created a mood perfect for this type of gameplay. There is no AAA production value here, but it does it's job well. It's entertaining to play. Good job.

The different colours gave me a sense of progression. I like how you have to move and shoot with skill to do well. Those fast triangular enemies were great as they was a strategic way to deal with them. The diversity in enemies added to the game well and the soundtrack matched well and was really cool! My constructive feedback is to make the car you're protecting move between rooms faster as waiting was a bit tedious. Also, those alternate firing methods could be more available throughout the levels, and more of them to spice the game up! Overall, a really solid and fun entry that fits the theme! Really well done!

Game is pretty good. Good looking, sounds well and has fun shooting mechanic with nice impact. However, protecting the car is not very interesting for me, because there's no special mechanics connected with it. Also room transitions are too slow.

really fun game, I liked the whole premise of escorting a payload. the variety of enemies was really neat in that I had to change up my play style when certain ones spawned. Something that is always difficult to do in a jam is balancing the difficulty of a game. On my first run, I picked up the large cannon that shot heavy damaging balls. I thought this was the best one because of the damage output, but then realized I could use the rapid fire gun and just circle the car since bullets did not go through it. Regardless the visual style is really pretty and it is not often I see a high quality start menu. Nice Job!

Nice entry! I like the simple graphics with a good work on particles and post effects, it all looked great. The music is cool, it doesn't get repetitive and it goes well with the game.
The powerups adds a fun mechanic to the game (although I liked the faster bullets one the most, the heavy bullets didn't cleaned up waves so well and the V shape shot got me all confused while aiming).
Overall, nice game, congratulations!

This is a nice little shoot'em up, completed it in about 5 minutes and enjoyed it quote a bit, thank you!

Stylish graphics and nice music helped to make it through as well :)

Sidenotes:

- Car passing from one location to another currently is just waiting without any meaningful activity, it could be either faster or a good time to recover / setup before the following fight
- Bonus of big bullets seems to be unhelpful, the default mode is quite good already
- Not sure what is the difference between red and yellow enemies - in general, they could be a bit more different, I guess

Good job nonetheless!

As a top down shooter fan myself, I really like the feedback of your game ! Did you use particle for the impact of the bullets (on a wall for example) ?

I love that you can make a fun to play game just by using some basic 2D shapes =) Great job, I just wish there was some way how to like.. combine "twin guns" with "big gun" and "quick gun" :))

I liked it, the feel of the game is great. It was a bit annoying that the enemies could spawn in the car, and I did it first try which may indicate something about the difficulty. Maybe you could add how many roads you are along as well. Despite that, great job!

Feel of the game is great! I love screen shake, particles and the simplicity of the graphics! The controls are great and the music is awesome! I feel it would be better if the car could move a faster to the next parking spot

Wow this reminded me a lot of my own game, its pretty fun! Kinda wish there was more different guns, but I like the few that you made! If you want I made a more portable/usable version of my twin gun script, you can even modify the behavior quite a bit with just a few simple edits. Let me know if you want to check it out.

Awesome game, enjoyed how difficult it gets. It would be great if the transitions between levels was a bit faster to maintain the pace of the game.
