It Really Hz is an addictive rage game where the player takes form as a frequency in a oscilloscope. The player controls its frequency and wavelength and the goal is to dodge obstacles and get the highest score as possible. Just as a warning, it really hertz.
This is our first Ludum dare entry, so constructive feedback would be greatly appreciated. :)
It was fun to play, but way too hard.
The frequency being at the center of the screen is a little unfair considering you have about a second to react to the incoming obstacles.
Nice one! Good music, good difficulty, nice concept with the oscilloscope, nice awful pun in the title!
Incidentally, my game is a difficult endless runner too, but shitty instead of good :) http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-34/?action=preview&uid=25573
Yes. It does really hurt. i was a bit disappointed because the description talked about oscilloscopes and the name is hz in it so naturally I assumed there would be some sort of dinamic audio involved where you use frequencies to solves puzzles or whatnots. Instead I got this, and was pleasantly surprised for about 0.5 seconds; the time it took before the first obstacle moved from it's initial frame on the screen until it hit me.
These games are fun though, but this might be harder than the impossible game, because that game, hard as it may be, actually give you time to react.
If the frequency was changed faster (I assume the yellow things have something to do with the frequency change-speed maybe?) it could be fun. Now it's just annoyingly hard, imo. Not very original either.

Other than that, good game :)

Awesome sound design :p

2 out of 5 humps.
Power-up yellow dot's function is unknown.
Chill house music throughout that sorta changes as you go along. There's at least enough of it that it doesn't become repetitive.
Overall, good jam.
Nice game.
The music was great to!
IMHO the ball is too slow to dodge.
good music.
