Valley of the Dying by Echo GameWorks

You have just fended off marauders from destroying your village, but just barely. Those you love are seriously injured and to save them, you must travel through the Valley of the Dying with an ancient treant named Genesis. As you trek though the Valley, you'll fight off hordes of beasts so you can reach the Holy Well. When Genesis drinks from the Well, it produces a single Magic Fruit which can be used to heal an ally.

Battle back and forth between your village and the Holy Well until the entire team is back on their feet. If Genesis dies, the game is over.

A good game that I think needs more polish. The units move so slowly to be able to travel so far. The gameplay loop becomes ultimately tedious, but that's a thing you get with repetitive games like this. Still, I think the concept is good. The escort quest style game is a somewhat obvious interpretation of the theme, but not as obvious as it could be. I think the thing this game is really missing is some variety, really.

@incobalt - Thanks so much for the feedback. I completely agree that it's a bit more repetitive and dull than I was imagining from the start. I was hoping to add more features (character powers, towers, etc) - just ran out of time. I appreciate you taking the time to try it out!
