using game maker, when you compile it, you should change form windows installer to standalone .exe. looks better.

Er... It was interesting. I enjoyed only using two buttons, but that was just about it. The graphics were pretty bad and looked like they were made in 1 minute... Other the game ran smoothly.

Could you change it to be an executable as opposed to an installer? For small games like this, it's just a hassle to deal with installers. When you're exporting the game, hit the dropdown box and change from NSIS installer to single runtime executable.

I did install and play it though (and beat it). The levels were a little repetitive, but there were a few good ones. I like the level where you had to fall through a bunch of spiked blocks floating the air, but most levels were just climbing to the exit, which isn't a whole lot of fun. More moving obstacles would improve the level variety a lot. The simplicity is nice too though, good job!

There is nothing... new in this game. There are hundreds of platformers that have spikes already. It could get a bit harder near the end, and the portals could be used in a bit more clever ways.

However, the music was quite good.

the graphics weren't very good. i liked the audio and it was pretty easy, nice job although in the future you might want to make it an .exe file and make it a little bit easier on the eyes.

No real challenge. That's okay given the time it was developed in. The placement of objects in levels felt very erratic, though. Seemed random. Good job on having a completed game! That's no easy task! :D

Things I liked:
- Two button controls worked well and created a few interesting scenarios.
- Tight and precise controls.
- Decent music.
- Good number of levels for the time constraint.
- Runs well.

Things that could be improved:
- Graphics could be a bit more refined (the style isn't too bad).
- Levels are pretty repetitive.
- Game requires an installer.
- Not very challenging.
- Fixed window size/resolution/no full screen.

Overall, good amount of content but could be refined some more. Good job!

Gets the job done. A robust platformer with an interesting twist, I like it. I think you presented some awesome mechanics (flying axes, portals) but didn't really use them in your level design to well. Audio was a pleasure. Well done!

I really enjoyed that! =P
Somehow.

For me, the way new things were introduced, felt effortless. One thing entering my mind and leaving right before a new one arrives. This "curve of interest" was just good enough to put me in flow I think.

But clearly, I am in the minority.
I'm the kind of person who loves outlandishly glitchy things, and the graphics and personality of this game was just my cup of tea.

This game doesn't do anything new, but everything is a solid agreeing of platforming with two buttons. You've got solid work that could use some polish.

The idea is pretty nice and challenging and you can feel the progression in levels, but the challenges don't rise too much, save for the last level. :P
