Such a beautiful game ! Loved the graphics and the sounds, adding elements when changing location work great. I had a really nice time doing this game.

Faux-fixe black and white animations are the best hehehe ;)
I really like your game. The animation is simple and work perfectly. It's nice to change places and see different things appear. The sound environment works very well too. The story is intriguing. Congratulations for making this game on your own!

You did an amazing work! I love the design and the ambience. It's kind of frustrating that we can't see the rest of the story, this game would deserve to be way longer.

Has potential. The artwork, ambiance, and slight mystery is the strong points of this. Very well done job on those. It's a bit weak in the gameplay, theme, and doing anything particularly new or interesting. But with that being said, I still can't help but be intrigued by this small world. Expanded upon, I could see this as a puzzle/adventure game with a very interesting mysterious vague plot.

Oh yeah I love that art style! I'm actually curious to know how you render your scene, are there fixed animated sprites or is it vector graphics being wobbled at every frame? I like the paper texture of the background. The gameplay itself is very basic, if it were me I would've gone with more animations and story and less "classical mechanics".

By the way there's another paper/B&W (sorta) game that I liked in this LD, maybe you'll enjoy it too: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/45/oje

The exploration in this ever-changing environment left me intrigued at each step of the way.
Tone, mood, art and sound were beautiful.

Short and to the point, I like it. There was some walking around, but not so much that the game would become tedious because of it.

I like how unrealistic yet very internally consistent is the realm the creature is in, presumably a dream world. Things keep changing, but they change to adapt to what the dreamer needs. When they find a key, a house spawns. When they find a chest, a dungeon with the key emerges. When they find a broken lever, a handle is bound to appear. Pretty much what one would expect from lucid dreaming, where the dreamer's thoughts and needs shape the realm.

Not much to say about graphics and sounds except that they serve the game well.

Overall, a pretty nice adventure game. Well done. ^^

Amazing game! I love the art, and was fun to play. Awesome concept behind the story, nice sounds. It would be nice if the game's story were just a bit longer.

Very atmospheric! I love the whole overseer/test subject thing going on, overall a very unique game. Could work on a larger scale imo.

I won :D

(Copy-pasted from my Newgrounds review.)

A very interesting story. I love the art style, and the way the world evolves around you as you explore. My main complaint is that it feels way too short; it ends just as it gets going. I'd love to see this expanded into a full game, because right now there just isn't enough to it.
