I love everything about it!
At first my baby always get alive and as I am so panic about it, trying to figure things out as everything is moving. Just like the baby in real life, (not stoping and running toward every dangerous thing in the appartement / not the being eaten alive part! )
Then the first level are easy/fun to solve as long as you keep the baby in the corner of your eyes.
I can't play for long tonight but I'll come back for more! Nice work!
A puzzle game were you really need to think about the plan and execute it flawlessly. Maybe add some "coyote time" for beginners.
Some kind of two player coop version could be really enjoyable. One of the best LD46 games I've played yet!
Otherwise a great game. Honestly
Consider playing mine, and give a review? https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/ballad-of-the-bard/comments

and we make the same theme, protect a baby haha and same....
The only thing that bothered me is picking stuff up when I don't want to. I believe it could work as it is if you were locked into moving along the grid (it would become part of the puzzle). Since you can move freely tho (which is probably better) I would prefer to pick up and throw things by pressing and releasing a button.
I just felt super confused at first about the blocks - like I didn't know if that was "realtime" as in "be quick" or think about what you're doing - turns out both, respectively have good timing :) the bottle thing was nice and cute. I just felt like throwing thr rocks felt weird - it always happened when I run gaianst them, I think it would be better if I press a key to pick them uop and then press another key when I want to put it down -
other than that, congrats on finishing your game, the art really is amazing and cute :)

The audio and graphics are superb! From the first screen to in the game, every sprite looks great, and every sound effect and music track fits in. Really superb!
I personally thought that the automatic picking up of blocks was inaccurate, and didn't always work like I wanted, which left me frustrated. The blocks were also in my opinion thrown too far (maybe because I'm so used to Stardew Valley), which often made me lose since I missed my throw. However, I think that the level design was fun, and a double puzzle to both figure out a plan and then to execute it.
Overall, super polished game, but the gameplay frustrated me a little too much, the combination of inaccuracy and the fast pace needed to stop the baby from running into the monsters was a little too much for me, sorry. I want to empathise that it's just my opinion, and given some more time I could probably get used to the controls!
Some more animations for the monsters falling off would be a bonus, if you carry on developing, maybe even some other kinds of traps / hazards ( there may have been more, I couldn't get past the big V shape level )
Just to recap, I really liked the sound theme, together with sounds it was a bit irritating, but in a good way? I don't know how to explain it, but the whole game felt like some weird mix of pain and pleasure, good stuff and bad features, cute and bloody. Gameplay itself, I never seen anything like that in real time, so it broke my brain a bit, but I did finished the game, and was quite happy about it afterwards.
Now, this version feels more polished, and there's less of that weird mix, which is sad since a) I liked it and b) I'm personally against this kind of polishments made after the jam, since, as you can see, even such "harmless" changes can change how the game feels drastically.
Correct me if I'm wrong and you did no changes after the jam, but I definitely played this one before.
