made by Zyger for Ludum Dare 46 (JAM)

banner2.png This was a really fun challenge to take part it. Because this was my first time taking part in a Ludum Dare 46 game jam I was really nervous and unsure when to start, but once I had my idea and a plan to follow everything became less stressful and more enjoyable. At This point I would say that the hardest part of this challenge is number one getting the idea. This was an issue for me not because I'm not creative or anything, in fact I had multiple ideas in mind; but my issue was choosing the perfect one. Then the only other obstacles that I faced was wanting to add more and more and more. The issue with this is that there was a time limit and I knew that I wouldn't be able to complete the wanted feature in time, which just became a disappointment throughout. However, I enjoyed the whole experience and recommend it to everyone to trey out.

This game was made for Ludum Dare 46! This is my first every Ludum Dare Entry :) Hope you like it!

I enjoyed it. It was fun, very hard, the graphics are VERY good, and the concept is tried and trued. There really isn't much room for error here and the execution is brilliant.

Very nice work on the artstyle. Loved the static filter. Nice use of particles as well.

The game itself controls very nicely and the highscore system was a great way to keep me retrying again and again. Good job :D

The art and sound was very well done. It's a simple game, but the beating heart sound effect is really good, when you're in the middle of the game there's a really good rhythm sound to it that is satisfying. Another really good touch was automatically start the game again after failing.

I really loved the artstyle but the heart seemed to be a bit in the wrong artstyle, otherwise it was a simple but decently fun game. I was a bit confused about the heartbeats at first, the sound they make when you hit them sounds like something positive and that you are supposed to hit them.

Loved the aesthetic. Sounds were perfect. Very much enjoyed the ending. I do wish it was longer and/or harder. I finished it my 1st time trying.

Tremendous work on the graphics, sound, design, and presentation. So impressive. The game is hard, but with a very simple design, but it's fun in the same way Flappy Bird and other such games are. Very cool for a first entry.

neat little game! I have one nitpick which is that the sound when getting hit sounded too positive, which got me confused at first, but that's pretty much it.

Loved the art style and I know you said you struggled with time strains but it feels like it lacks content but from what's their incredible work

Cool art, sound, game overall! Everything about your game is cool! For first 3 times I played this game it was hard, but 4 try was a success, and I love that scream at the end of game :D

P.S. Somehow I don't know, but I don't have a sleep paralysis for this heart :)

Found your video on youtube and came to play the game. I loved the game and it looks very much polished. Visuals are stunning, the CRT effect is nice and sounds are fitting. Movement effects are really nice adds juice to the game. Overall a great entry. However I am not sure why you went for a 3D model when you could make the same in photoshop in 2D

Gameplay wise I think it was good to have a very simple idea at the core and then build it from there. You did a great job. I felt the colliders were a bit bigger and sometimes I felt hitting them even though the last pulse went pass me. Overall a solid entry especially this is your first jam.

Couldn't get the game to regester inputs, but I came from your video and saw gameplay for myself. Very polished and well rounded. Liked the art style as well. I did find it odd for some things like the lack of a quit button seeing as it opened up in fullscreen automatically for me, so I had to force quit to get out of it. Overall though, nice entry.

Great game ! enjoyed it :D On Mac, i've had an issue regarding button from the ui which were misplaced however. Not too bad, but it was kind of hard to start the game ! Also loved the video about you making this ! Keep up the great work !

Simple but efficient. There is a good atmosphere thanks to the sound design and the colors fit well together. Good job!
