Time Crunch by shelvacu

[raw]
made by shelvacu for Ludum Dare 46 (JAM)

Your goal is to create a self-consistent paradox. That is, you can go through the time portal after you've crossed the bridge that was enabled by the "you" that went back in time through the portal in the first place.

To place a portal, click and drag down to select the number of steps the portal should go backward. Click play in the top-left to see what happens.

We were only able to implement 2 levels, and no tutorial, but we hope you enjoy the concept!

The game definitely needs a tutorial.
I beat the first level without really know what I was doing.
Then, the game froze on the second level because I think I caused some infinite recursion because I still didn't know what I was doing.

That being said, I loved the writing and the homour.
It's an interesting, mindbending concept -- I just wish I knew what I was doing.
