I learned a lot from this game jam, being my first. Don't go with the first thing that comes into your head. I know I could've done better, but I was too afraid to spend time brainstorming.

Well done, a nice small game. I managed to get 6, I'll have to try and get higher when I have more free time >.<

Thank you for your entry!

About the lesson learned of yours. I think it is quite the opposite. First thought is usualy the best base for game. This is a prove since it is a good and enjoyable game. Somehow even the music set the right mood.

Well done, thanks for sharing.

A nice arcade game with a good repeatable gameplay loop. Well done! If I were to change anything it would be the shooting sfx to something more 'watery' sounding. I'll be coming back to play this one some more

Nice graphics and its fun. I thought maybe should it be the other way around? Protect the fire from the water? haha but its a cool game :)

Great visuals! The difficulty was in the right place. Just a little suggestion, maybe the arrows should emit light as well, so they dont disappeara in the dark. Nonetheless, good job on nice game:)

@njm-games Yeah I though about that for a bit, at the time I had just added the water shots and changing it would mean fire shots which didn't really make sense to me. Thanks for the feedback!

Very well made game, Everything that was implemented was implemented completely. I think that with a little music and "omf" in the form of particle effects and screen shakes you have a nice time waster.

Super cute 8-Bit art, good concept, well done. Only thing I'd recommed is making the viewport of the shadow more wide because once that dude leaves you can't see him so if you miss his direction it's game over, but that might be intentional to make it little more difficult and you have to actually focus. Good job bro!

@forevertrash Yeah I was worried about not being specific on the controls and UI. There are two cursors around you, one is white (which fades the closer you are) that points to the water, and one red which points to an enemy. The number keys also use abilities (bottom of screen). #1 is teleport to him. Thanks for the feedback! I'll add it to the description.

Nice looking game, wouldn't have guessed it your first! It plays nice but the second ability seems a bit annoying because the droplet runs away so fast. I liked the lighting effects but I would have liked to have the camera a bit further away, so you could see more. The music was literally random notes, but it didn't annoy me as much as I thought :D
Good job!

Feels like an escort mission in the 2000s.

Very fun to play, and then this droplet sods off. No self preservation!
