Nice concept, portals mecanics arealways great. Maybe sometimes the cake could have a bigger hitbox since once you understand the puzzle it's not that fun to miss it from few pixels (get stuck in level 5 because of that). Anyway, very cool entry that fit well the them

Minimal and really fun, I appreciate the difference in every level and the mechanic presented, personally I love portal game puzzle, and this one is good.
Missing some sound fx that could improve the overall experience!
Sorry orange man, I killed you many times... but still overall a good experience!

Nice little Portal inspired game. I liked the usage of gravity in a 2D environment. Sound and music would add more value to it.

Portals. The game is pretty fun, but also a bit difficult in some places. Overall - pretty good.

Oh, this was challenging but so fun! I liked it. I wish it had some sound effects or music though. I wanted to hear the orange man go splat.

Very fun to play but I can never hit the cakes sadly, I agree they need bigger hitboxes got stuck on level 6. Still great game just need a little tweaking.

I really like this. I think it came out great! I like playing puzzle games and always find using portal mechanics in a game can either go well or just completely fail. with that being said, you did not fail with this game, good job! i am having some difficulty with level 5. I have gotten over to the area that the cake is in, but the hitbox seems too small and i keep missing. that is the only issue I have seen.

Gameplay feels great, and i love this interpretation of portals from "Portal". It's kinda hard, but actually after some time it becomes not so challenging. Great work!

I always enjoy portal. All this was missing was sound. It was also interesting playing with more fast paced puzzles.

I love Portal, I love the aesthetic, the puzzles are really fun, it's just insanely hard! Not a bad thing at all imo. Only thing I wish was that you didn't need to click exactly on the floor tile to spawn a portal, sometimes I would click just a pixel above the tile and the portal wouldn't spawn. Maybe you could have a ray casting from the player until it finds a floor tile and then place a portal on it, like the original Portal.

Awesome game! I really loved how the gel shot out towards the camera, and the graphics themselves were great, it felt very polished and I didn't run into any bugs, shooting portals did feel a little unpolished though and I got stuck on level 6, were their any after that one? Either way, great job on this the portals act exactly how they should - a feat I can't imagine was easy to accomplish!

Cool game, I did have some trouble moving my mouse fast enough at time to keep up but I am sure that would change with practice

Nice concept and use of the theme, sadly I wasn't very good at it :)
Would be nice to have some indicator that the right mouse button is the way to create the exit. Also, keep in mind that Mac users often don't have a right click option and might not be able to play, I've made that mistake several times. Maybe add keyboard options to open portals based on mouse position. Overall though I liked it!

Hey

It may not have been clear but a space bar slows down time

Sorry

Amazingly linked to the theme. Fun and we'll polished. I really liked how you brought the funniest part of portal (being stuck in those loops) to a 2D game!

I love portal 2, so the art style is lovely. I was missing some sound effects, but the different mechanics introduced made the game fresh. level 7 is very difficult!

The game is very cool. I reach level 6 that seems a bit difficult. Lack sound and on the webgl version fullscreen doesn't work correctly.

Cool game. A level selection would be cool though to give the possibility to skip the level when stuck. Especially in Jam games, where there's not the time to polish each level until it's perfect. The splash when you die is really helpful for placing the portal better the next time.

One thing I found a bit frustrating is that the portals are shot in a line, and when there's an obstacle the portal will be built at the wrong position. I understand why you can't shoot portals around corners, but I'd prefer it to not shoot at all if it won't hit the correct place.

Nice game. I liked the level design. This game reminded me of my Portal 2 days.
Here are some things that I would suggest:
- An example level to explain a little better how to play the game.
- I think the physics should be fully persistent between the portals, what I mean is if you enter a portal with an angle you should exit the other portal with that angle too (+ the rotation of the wall).
- Sometimes I think the camera angle made it difficult to understand where to place the portal, maybe other perspective would be better.
- And, for last, a bar indicating the amount of time the slow down takes seems a nice idea.

nice concept
is it safe cake, or a lie?

in the web version the fullscreen mode did not work for me, the game was not displayed larger but with a black border

The idea is well executed on. It isn't something too new, but I like the cake reference and the ending is a nice touch. I agree with @hsnavarro that a time bar for the SlowMo would help.

Got some fun passing by levels, but sometimes the way how portal is set really frustrating because of camera. And also there is even bigger (from my perspective) problem of the game that it's not hard to find out the solution, rather to implement it.

But overall pretty nice result, like it :)

Good game ! I'm a bit sad because I didn't succeed to pass the level 5 because of the raycast of my orange portal wasn't perfectly in front of the cake... But I would like to see the other levels if a new version without this problem is released !
Good job !

A pretty cool game, well done.

The assets fit pretty pretty good to each other and the mechanics are working fine. They are pretty forgiving in placing them correctly which is good for the fun. The Hardness raise pretty fast but still ok.

In General a great game. Well done

Maybe a bit overly inspired by Portal, but who doesn't like Portal anyway? I certainly didn't see this idea anywhere else in the jam! The puzzles were generally fun, although slightly frustrating at times. Good game!
