Forest, a man like any other, under mysterious circumstances he wound up in a dungeon. He has no recollection of how he got here or why it's always him when something goes wrong.

As he wonders through the dungeon strange noises arise and he begins to realize that he continuously walks through the same room every time he tries to move into another. What happened next can not be put into words... one had to be in the room to believe it!

But be careful not to wonder to deep into the dungeon you might never come out again... but it's your choice to make, so choose wisely.

Recommendation: Please play the game with headphones on for the best possible experience!

This game is pretty neat. The design fits very well into the theme. I really enjoyed the pattern based gameplay and the atmosphere was amazing. Some background music for the important moments could have given a bit more polished touch. But overall I would see a whole game made out of this! Good job!

I couldn't quite figure out what to do, but the pixel art looks cool and I liked the transition beteween rooms a lot

The graphics and the audio are really good. I liked the ambiance. I player for a bit until I understood the way that the ghosts spawned and the "ending room" appeared, and it's not random, the player must follow certain directions on certain occasions for it to happen. That I believe that makes this game not hard, but frustrating to play.
I believe that if you added more monsters, more clues, it would be better.
Anyhow, that's a great game where I spent a fair amount of time playing.

I really like the idea! Looping around in rooms like that is a perfect fit for the theme, reminds me a bit of that forest area in the original zelda game. Athmosphere is also great, pretty spooky. I didn't figure out what to do, i stumbled around and tried to press e everywhere and got myself caught by the ghost, though the text was quite confusing (i did outrun it?). After reading the comments i managed to reach the first ending room. I'm not sure if there is any logic to where to go, or if it is trial and error - in any case i trialed and errord my way to the second ending room :D

I tried to find a pattern for example if certain sounds are played on the right or wrong path, or to see if the movement of the ghosts mean something, but i didn't find any. I really appreciated the torches helping me out there. From a technical point of view everything worked fine, my only issue was that the sound was pretty low volume even when turning it up fully, and the font was tiny (but readable) on my 3440x1440 screen.

Overall, a really nice game!

Very well executed idea, I felt really smart once I had figured out what to do. Only I feel that throwing me back an entire level for getting caught just once was a bit too harsh 😅 Again here's the link to my stream of the game:
