Ludum Fair is a game about staying in the air as long as possible avoiding objects being tossed at you which could impair your vision. The longer you stay up the better chances you have at reaching the highschool table.

Short, simple and fun. The physics feels a bit clunky but that only adds to the challenge :). Good thinking on adding a leaderboard.

@gibss yeah was something I wanted to add in this weekend for sure; surely enough was the last item to go in but I believe it was worth. Makes me want to try over and over again for sure.

Love this idea for this theme! Liked the gameplay after I figured out all of the variables going on, at first I didn't see the light on the platform or the things going through the air to avoid. Once I got the hang of that I played a good many times through, couldn't make it past 1 min though :frowning2: There are a couple of collisions that could be adjusted to make it feel cleaner, and maybe a gradual difficulty change as time passes, but other than that I really enjoyed this

A simple idea (those are often the best) well executed, bang on the theme.

Really enjoyed the mechanic of moving platforms. (The kids being thrown were a great touch)

@tyler-miller Yeah I agree on your points I think the difficulty ramp would help a lot

@ninnec No kids harmed in the making of this; they were dolls ;)

It was pretty fun, not my type of game but I like how it's a simple idea that works. The animations aren't crazy but overall it looks nice, responds well, no bugs, but the collisions and the overall movements feel dry, it lacks juice in my opinion.

Special mention to the online leader board, perfectly fits your game and the fact many persons for the Ludum Dare will play it, congrats, I have no clue how to make that!

The way the theme is integrated is ok, not crazy game design neither but it adds a nice touch to the platforms we have to stay on , you get the stars on this one ah ah

I kinda suck at this game, but it seems super polished. Also: I might have toyed around with curl and it might be a good idea to remove the last highscore entry... sorry :D

Simple but funny game, I liked the concept. Graphics is nice and I loved the music. Menus are a bit unresponsive and both the username textfield and the volume slider seem to reset every time you change the page

This is one of the most unique takes on the theme I've seen around here :)

Managed to enter the high score at 1min26s

Heya! Thanks for submitting your game to my stream at [wwww.twitch.tv/drjavasaurus](www.twitch.tv/drjavasaurus). Rodeo-bear simulator! Great take on the loop theme, nice use of visual queues to indicate where to jump to. The chaos is complete but I caught myself gasping and (totally manly, not girly) screaming to try and keep myself on the platforms. Well done, very nicely executed. Can recommend ! Congratulations on your game :)
