You know, I had the same idea (keeping a party going) but I couldn't figure out how to execute it in a simple enough manner. And I think you managed to do that. I like the generated art, it definitely doesn't take anything away from the gameplay and instead makes it feel like a piece of abstract art. The simple controls are nice, as well as the sound of people chattering. What I'm missing is feedback and an understanding of the game mechanics. I can see people vibrating as they are about to leave, but I don't know what it means. And without a timer or headcount or other UI, I don't know if I've done a good or bad job of maintaining the party.
