How to Air by kwaku
One day you are coming back home from intergalactic space-plumbing mission. The next moment you find yourself stranded on a small rocky planet, asking a question: how to make air?
A mini adventure game.
Controls: - left, right arrows to walk - left mouse to pick up standing on the object - drag&drop to interact
Important: Walk onto the object or machine to pick it up / interact with it. Hover over object with mouse precisely. We are aware of the fact, item's hitbox could be better.
Changelog: We have fixed a typo in the methane gas tank speech bubble from helium to.. well methane:)

For the hitboxes, we know but it was hard to do it differently. Keep the feedback coming! :)
Dig the presentation and art, especially the circular level! :white_circle:
Also updated description with the information, thx @mika-la-grand
The interaction range is a bit small for some objects though.
Took me ages to find the last item though!
@arzi thx:) yeap, art by https://www.instagram.com/bubug_
And yeap hitboxes to be fixed!
Nice feeling
Good work!
I'd only expect that dude to sound more extraterrestrial.
I think your art and sound definitely helped set the mood. I loved how the guy on the planet was just called "dude", I laughed a while there. It was a great combination and implementation.
I understand that we're all under time pressure and there's just so much one can do with puzzle design, but I think it'd be cool if the puzzles are a tad-bit harder than the current state.
Amazing game! Once again, the art and the sound. Mmmm (chef's kiss).
Oh on a side note, CH4 is not helium LOL
I really like the art, my favorite so far.
I got stuck with the medkit, the only item remaining. I wasn't able to pick it up.
Anyway, good job on your game. You did great!
I found everything but 1 gas and can't progress :( Nothing else interacts, what am I doing wrong?

Update: apparently, you do not need the spare air tank and can recycle it to Argon ^^ Completed
The characters like the dude and the creature were super epic and drew me even more into this game, I don't know how and why but the creature reminded me of Hollow Knight, one of my favorite single player games, even the following eyes of the creature were an amazing add-up to the game. Really cleanly done apart from some clicking difficulties and some stuff but at the end of the day it's an LD game and bruh this was fun to play :) Also the theme could've possibly been a tad bit more accurate, but I'm fully fine with this one! Loved it!
Hope you keep making games, I really look forward seeing more! Sick game guys!
I'd echo the other comments about dodgy hit boxes, and you can keep bashing the medkit with the rock to get loads of syringes (I must have bled that creature dry), but those are minor nitpicks in an excellent entry.
You need to use something on the medkit :)
@vivek-sharma20 hmm it might be the general hitboxes problem we have in this version. We havent noticed any bugs with the extractor in particular.

I laughed my ass of when I heard "Thank you so much".
Gonna be honest felt reaaaally bad about sticking the poor creature with a needle but it had to be done I guess :sob:
I liked this point and click type *extracting*
It wasn't a big challenge to get through though. With the limited options, it was easy to walk around and try everything on everything. When I got *stuck*---which never felt like I was really stuck, as I could just continue my way and try things. So while I really enjoyed the character and feel of things, the mechanics were a little less fleshed out.
But all in all, one of the more polished entries I have seen so far---great work!
Overall, just a great game!
Probably I would have loved a bit of a "Scientific education" on that game (why O_2, CH_4, etc.), but that's my personal deviation '^^. Maybe a bit of music would be a wonderful add.
It took me a while to figure out how to get the item for the top right square, because I thought the rock was just another rock like all the others, so that one could be a bit more higlighted.
It also felt as if the triggers for some of the interactibles was a bit small, or misplaced sice it could take multiple tries to actually click them.
The complaints above are very nitpicky, I really had to try hard to find some criticism, because the game was really good. I love point and click adventure games so to find one of this quality in a game jam was amazing.
Good job!

You did a great job! Would love to play more like this!
The only thing that annoyed me was that sometimes I clicked on objects and thought I needed something else since it didn't pick up, but I just had to get closer. Besides that minor thing, really nice game.
Apart from the art, the gameplay is engaging and fun as well, with immersive and interesting puzzles. Also, I think it has the right gameplay time for a jam game, It's neither too long nor too short so it doesn't get boring or repetitive.
Amazing entry! Great job!!!
Who is the artist btw? :P
The puzzling itself was not too complex, but as a whole it felt pretty good.
Nicely done!
## Good news, we have more coming! :)
We have started working on a full version of a point&click version called `Kosmonauta`. It is very alpha version yet but we already have a plan to create more of everything. And also a whole new (mouse only) control system and hitbox system completely revamped.
## We also started Patreon a page were you can support us: https://www.patreon.com/kosmonauta_game
A sneak peek only for You:

- you can interact with rock with med kit as much as you want and get a lot of syringes, I guess it's just a bug
- it'd be nice if you could control the astronaut with wasd as well as arrows
Also the voice saying "thank you" was marvellous xD English-speaking alien
Great job!
Little bug : at the end, when doing the victory pose, I pressed an arrow key, resulting in the little guy moving with no animation, and triggering the walking sound during the rest of the end cinematic.
Keep up the good work, and wish you the best rank at the results :)
Wonderful game! Lovely artstyle and nice mood and overall feeling. Great ambience set by the audio and aesthetics. The game is short but very well done and feels complete.
Very inspiring entry! 5/5
amazing!
I see you guys are already working on a version post-jam. If you only add maybe one extra colour ( a grey or similar ) or maybe a very limited palette?
