Well done on the style and the music. I love the feel of the game! One note, the menus and the ui buttons were a bit finicky to work with, and I really struggled closing out the shop

Y’all, the graphics in this are absolutely outstanding—the pixel art is really well done on its own, but the post-processing and the visual effects take it to another level. Great work.

Top notch graphics and audio, and a concept that you can't go wrong with. I did find the balance to be strange, though. I couldn't afford the cheapest upgrade until level 12, and then I bought it, only to find that it was really weak. Great job overall, though.

Music and graphics are great! I love the little details, like the small pause whenever you hit things. Would have loved some more early game upgrades (the rifle shot takes quite a while to save up to)

Well done. The graphics were very simple but well done. Also really enjoyed the audio. Super expensive shop so that could be tuned down. Wave 10 and couldnt afford anything still :D Keep up the good work

This was a lot of fun, I think that the price for the power ups are a little steep though. I got to Wave 13.

This game is awesome! I adore the aesthetics of the music and art (and of course the light is wonderful). Excellent game feel - shooting the arrow felt really juicy and I could feel every attack hit the enemies. The difficulty ramp seemed a bit harsh to me, with the early waves feeling much too easy and the later ones being too difficult (for me). Of course you were under time pressure so I'm sure you could easily fix that with some more playtesting and tweaking a couple parameters. Also - a minor thing, but I kept being frustrated that my character would catch on the geometry of the crystal, it made me feel annoyed at the thing I'm supposed to be protecting - is it possible to turn that collider off? TL;DR - awesome game, thanks for making it :)

If you balanced out the drop rate of coins, or adjusted the cost, then it would be so much more fun. However, we enjoyed this regardless!

Felt good to play but didn't play enough to buy any upgrades, would love to try them out but I can't be bothered to grind so long. Great art style and soundtrack!

Thank you for all the kind words! While play testing we were afraid that the rate of upgrades maybe too fast and ruin the game since there are some pretty beefy weapons, but looking back I do agree that the shop needs a nerf so, with 20 minutes left on the clock we nerfed the shop! The kind words and constructive criticism mean so much to us since this is our first game jam. All art and music cred goes to my partner NotManyIdeas. He's an amazing artist and we both look forward to jamming again in October!

Wonderful visuals and music... smooth gameplay. If you ever do more work on it, even if you want to keep the overall progression steep, you might consider at least a few cheap upgrades just so players feel like they're make progress early on. But in any case, great job!
