There is absolutely no conveyance at all other than a few cryptic lines at the start of the game. How are players supposed to know what to do when the only thing to do is a button that says "defend"? The most I could possibly "figure out" was to press it to send shockwaves to destroy the bugs, but even then I don't know if this is the case because shockwaves only appeared every now and then. Not to mention that the bugs are so impossible to time with so little room to see when they are coming.

But at least it looks nice and has fine music.

Wish I could know how to play because it looks and sounds great.

The graphics are nice, the music is nice, but unfortunately I couldn't really figure out what to do. It might be good to incorporate some detailed explanations if not in game, then either on this page or itch. The concept seems cool, I'm just really not sure what exactly I need to do.

Unfortuantelly I did not understand the game. What are the keys? I could not properly rate the game at this points. Maybe you can describe how to play the game on the commends / page.

Pros:
+ The overall sprites are cool
+ The music loop is nice

To improve:
+ A tutorial level or description on the page describing the keys or how to play the game (e.i. the inputs)
+ (not sure, but) I think the bugs looks to have a different sprite colour pallet than the other elements in the game. I mean, the sprites doesnt look to be from the same game

I really wish I could play the game. Please! Fix it =D

Really curious about this game, I like the art and the idea, but it was too challenging for me to get far in it. I figured out you could scroll down to see the enemies coming, but the timing on the defend button was too disconnected from the press that it was hard to time attacks.

Please add more explanations. Nice music and graphics, but same as the others have already said.

Like others already mentioned. You feel pretty lost and dont know what to do. I tried spamming defending but its triggering after some delay and is on a pretty hard cooldown. It does not really feel well to play.
But the graphics and the music are nice and calm :)

I have to agree with the others, it's a bit sad that there is no explanation of what to do in your game here or directly in the game.
The music is great though !

Like the others said, it looks interesting but I have no clue how to play it.

Very hard to figure out what to do. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I defend from the insects, but I don't understand the water section, or the sun section. Music is nice, art is okay, not crazy about the different sized pixels. You should just write the game rules in your description.

Nice musics, cool graphics! Liked the overall idea.

But...

About the gameplay, as other already said, it's very cryptic. My own game suffers from same issue, as many others, so its normal in so little time frame.

I understand that you must stop bugs from eating your seed(?). And each "pulse" uses nutrition. But how I get new nutrition? Are there other functions the seed can perform?

Also, I failed to see the link with the theme.

I liked the idea a lot. The music and the graphics are really nice as well. Very innovative too. I think that is the issue - when you have something so different from what anyone has seen, more explanations may be needed. I managed to get the timing of the bugs after a couple of tries, but I do think the diffence between the max and min speed they go needs to be smaller. However my biggest issue is that the seed keeps growing to a point where the red indicator on the right gets a half yellow top and then it stops, my Enzymes run out and I loose. Everytime. I couldn't figure out how to progress. I tried a few times. I did like your idea though. I think with a little gameplay tweaks and explanations this can be a great game.

Graphically, it's a beauty, and congrats on brave concept.

Stage one, considering defense cooldown and ammo, appears to be too luck based as insect spawning seems completely random.

Stage two I somehow survive though really having next to no clue if I'm doing the right thing, stage three I'm clueless and just die. Which is annoying as I want to progress in this game and be a good plant.

This was nicely put together, but I found the mechanics seemingly caused me to run out of ammo with no way to regenerate it then sit here stuck and watch my plant get eaten by bugs which was a bit frustrating. It would have been nice to have some kind of recharging ammo or something even if the recharge rate was very slow

Lovely graphics and music! As others I first was confused what to do in the first phase and did need a few tries to get the timing right. The second phase was even more confusing though :(

With a bit more time spent on leading the player a bit and explaining the gameplay, I'm sure this could be a hit! Keep it up :D
