Welcome to the Dr. Noir's hurry to survive!

Imagine that you're a doctor living in a steampunk apocalyptic world and a virus starts to spread across the planet.

*And to make things even worse... *

you got infected as well!

Now you have a limited amount of time to find the right ingredients, make the cure and run into a bunker to survive the end of the world. Well, good luck.

How to Play?

  • You're infected! Your objective it to keep yourself alive and make the blue antidote to enter in the bunker.

  • Use WASD to walk. Find the capsules, grab them using E and drop on the corresponding antidote machine colors until you get the blue one.

  • Once you have the blue antidote, drop it in front of the bunker to enter and survive!

  • And remember: In the game, you'll have a new virus side effect every clock cycle that may affect your abbilities to survive!

The game is pretty good ! I really loved the idea of the side effects that shows up! The graphics were cool too ! I think It just needed more fun mecanics, just a bit more of speed and you'll have a really cool game ! keep going !

The graphics are soo goood! I absolutley love the intro scene and the camera work!
The buttons sound in the menu were a little bit annoying, but ingame soundtrack is nice.
The gameplay is a little short, but nice so far. I would like to see this game with some gameplay :)

Very good game, I feel like the default player speed could be a bit faster though. Also, the art assets don't really look like a post apocalyptic world, they just look like... a normal world. So maybe a bit more themeing there would help. Good stuff

Very fun game. You just have to add more speed to the gameplay (mainly from the player) and put a reminder of the change of controls or it will look like a bug.

Fun game and the color combination mechanic was certainly interesting! Loved the stylized look and the shaders used too, the result was 🔥🔥🔥

the game is really fun and really well done! I would have done the tutorial as a "must" in the first level, so that people would actually get to see the mechanics of the game from the beggining, still an awesome game!!

Great concept and beautiful graphics, but the side-effects are way to strong. Would've been more fun and tense if weaker side-effects accumulated at higher speed, resulting in weird combinations.

The game is very interesting.
The tutorial is a good idear and the ambiance is nice.
I like the asset :) Good job.

But I found the side effect of the virus very hard. ^^
The first level, second side effect : move key rotatation = it's was all most impossible to win (for me I am not a true gamer... so...).

However, I like the game and I will train me to win ! :)

Fun, challenging and EXTREMELY polished. Was this in Blender Game Engine as well? Kudos. The virus mutation which made the controls wonky was hilarious! I am not good at this game... haha

Cool game like the fact that there is a tuto so when I play the real level I don't have restart multiple time to understand all the mechanics.
But still I redid the game to see all the different side effects, and I experience a bug I think: the character wasn't on the screen any more and I could move freely everywhere with colliding with anything.

It was fun, however I couldn't enjoy it much because it was slow and choppy on my pc, I am not a big fan of the visuals because it feels kinda inconsistent like some trees and barrels are Low Poly while the character was smooth shaded and stuff BUT it looked good.
I liked the idea of the side effects however I got like 6 walk slower in a row and that just meant no chance of winning for me, well viruses are ALWAYS unfair so that made sense.
Overall fun and interesting idea, could use some optimization and post processing.

The camera bothered me a little, but maybe it's just me being picky.

This game is so cool! I love the music, maybe that's my favorite part of it. It's simple, but really adds to the game. The graphics are okay, I would've liked the camera controls. The fact that there is an intro and menu is really cool! It seems so polished. Well done!

Echap quit te app
If I enter a menu I did not find how to go back, so I pressed echap...
Lighting is really sharp on edges, it's maybe wanted but on my computer it seems way too much based on other screenshots.
I also got the tutorial crashing.

I managed to play finally, the idea is good, once you got the grey thing you're really f**** up, it's maybe too much to have that straight away. Thanks for the submission in any case :)

Great game, the graphics are cool and I love the effects of the virus. I would love to see a full game out of this. Btw the effect that inverts you controls, genius, annoyed me and made me laugh until I die

24. Apr 2020 · 14:39 UTC
Unfortunatelly the game was crushing quite often, however I kept on trying :) The idea is very nice as well as the execution, however I would consider some balancing, since the ´infection´ can make it really hard to finish(or very close to impossible) if you are lucky enough to get combination of revert, no colors and slow walk (along with crash of the game, some may call it frustrating). But I am well aware that this is hard to tweak during the game jam. Overall this is great entry and in my eyes really good foundation for some post-jam game (and perhaps even some bigger game). I would definitely like to see more :) Thank you for the game!

What a great game! Very good job! I thought the idea was really unique, well executed and the art was good as well! (I think that whole plague doctor stuff is really cool, but then again, who doesn't :D)
I think you should really continue to work on this, it's a very interesting concept!
If you do work on this, here's a little more feedback: the colourblind mode is a good idea, however, after some time it can get a little annoying. I would suggest either making it disappear after a while, or after a while it goes on and off, like the colourful view sometimes "flickers" through, because if you have no idea what is what you can just do a try and error and that can get really bothersome after a while, but if the colours sometimes flicker through real fast the player has to memorize it :) Or like maybe the player can press a button to reveal the colours, but the price for that is that your life energy drains faster?
It would also be nice if you'd added an overlay with like an Icon and the name of the effect under it as soon as the effect actually starts to.. effect you :D
I really liked that you put together a little tutorial level, that really helped :)
I also really enjoyed the lighting and how the title blended in at the start!
oh and please add controler support ;) Amazing what you were able to accomplish in 72 hours!

I liked the setup and the idea for the game. Every iteration of the virus was very well made, slowly and walking and them walking backwards. Very cool. I'm thinking what if you take the virus with you to the bunker? :D

Woah is this a blender game??? If so, that's crazy! The art looks awesome and the atmosphere of the game is very well rendered. I love the idea that the virus can produce wacky effects like making you too big to go through doors and your feet are on backwards (that was ridiculously hard). Great job!

Having to click through the donate menu is pretty annoying as it is, but asking for $8 is just ridiculous. The concept of the game is quite interesting, but some of the side effects just break the game completely (from a gameplay perspective). Messing up the controls just frustrates the player, and there is no point after the colours are disabled.

Nice menu music, very satisfying click sounds. Art looks really nice was well.

If I'm using two monitors, loads until main menu:

- Clicking how to play crashes the game.

- Clicking play crashes the game.

If I'm using one monitor:
Crashes before even starting to load.

I'm running Windows 10, 64bit, with integrated and dedicated video cards, Intel4600 and AMD Radeon 8500M/8700M respectively.

Running on battery (integrated graphics card) the game runs, but no graphics are drawn, aside from intro, menu and textbox.

So yeah, probably the AMD graphics card is the issue.
