-Issues that I am aware of- If there are any flickering going on in full screen, I am unaware on how to fix this, and it seems to be a Pixel Game Maker MV issue
My take on the theme was to make light of our current situation, so I made a game where you play as Soapboy and fight zombies and evil bacteria!
Made in Pixel Game Maker MV using the base engine tools, so sorry no source code beyond engine!
Obviously with the 48 hours I couldn't quite fit everything I wanted in the game, however I did the best I could, and hope you enjoy it all the same.
Depending on skill, I'd say it takes about 5-10 minutes to complete what is essentially a level 1!

This game is really fun but may be too easy. Also on the boss part if you stay at the left you can easily kill the boss.
It was a little too short, I would enjoy more content of this.
Good job.
First off, the pixel art is fantastic! Just a great retro vibe all around with some great color choices. The art is also really well accompanied by those wonderful chiptunes and sfx!
However on a more critical note, I felt the game was lacking in a few areas. Namely the controls were a bit strange (1 to shoot?), and could have used some in-game prompting. Might just be my machine but the movement of the player character was also rather... stiff? sudden? Something about it just felt off and I couldn't get my jumps right. I'll also say the game was rather short, would have liked to play a bit more :/
Keep up the good work!
Well done!
Great submission overall!
It was not run on my PC out of the box, I had to copy msvcr110.dll into the destination folder.
Had a bit of an annoying bug on my first try, the checkpoint didn't activate and I had to start all the way back,
