Nice cute graphics and a perfect balance between fun and hard.

The cat sound effect adds a really nice touch and makes the game much more playable. It was a little confusing at first trying to figure it out but it was really rewarding sliding under the bad nuts and running from the cat. cute game I think this one is a real winner for me!

There should be feedback on when the cat will do whatever it does to the hamster, but otherwise its really polished.

That was great fun. The only thing I could recommend altering is some sort of "tell" that the claw is about to swipe (I was just jumping/ducking after about 2 seconds of the claw appearing).

@amkingtrp There is cat "meow" sound just before the swipe. :smile:

At first, I thought that the game about the hamster in a circle would be overused in this jam, but your games is the first one I see here. :smiley: Nice looking, simple, kept me interested to at least finish first "level" (collecting 10 nuts).

This is the first hamster game I've played and it's setting the bar pretty high for any other hamster game to follow! I loved both music & graphics, especially the hamster itself looks great. And gameplaywise it was actually quite thrilling to get that 20 nuts as I was often tempted to jump for a nut when the cat's paw was already approaching. More exciting than your ordinary hamster's life, that's for sure! ;)

Maybe the cat's attacks could be a bit more random, as it felt like the timings were more or less the same each time, but it wasn't too easy nevertheless and my hamster got scrached a few times before I got the 20 nuts.

Great hit on the theme. Very playable. I tried about 5 times, and got as high as 7/10, but kept bad food, which gave me gas! (In game, or out of game, I'll never tell.) Nice work all around. Fun to play, addictive to keep trying, which is a huge hit on such a short timeline. Congrats, and keep up the good work!

20 was my best.
Sweet mood due to music and graphics. I would only make the hamster fall off the wheel when attacked by cat. The scratches look a bit violent :)

Otherwise nice, funny game.

I little feedback for cat movement would be great. It could be a sound before swipe, advanced animation or at least smal countdown. It's nice game overall!

Loved the graphics, the music and the controls.

If i had to give any feedback on improvement, i would be on :

- The speed of the game : It felt slow, not that the game is slow, but the actions felt slow to execute and also the animations maybe.
- The "randomness" : I felt like i could anticipate everything at some point, so a bit of randomness should make the game even more exciting when u get to certain levels.

Overall, really great game, good job !

The game is nice, I like the visuals and it suits the theme. I would have liked more feedback before the attack of the cat because I find it hard to avoid it at the moment. If you don't roll the loop at the beginning and wait few seconds, the moment you start playing, the cat attacks you. With feedback and just a bit more of polish, it could be a very fun game! Well done.

You've made a smooth and lovely game, good job. I succeeded to do 20. The music fit perfectly. One downside is that it is hard to know when the cat gonna attack :cat:. But it also make the game challenging so... why not. :smile_cat:

This appears deceptively easy but it's harder than it looks. Simple but solid mechanic, gorgeous art&audio, I am in love with Hamtony. Very sweet game overall, well done. :)

The graphics were simplistic, which made it look nice. I like that style. The music was also great. Many others have already said this but I'd also like to point out that there could've been a little more feedback for the cat's attack. Other than that, it's a fun game and looks great. It was a nice mix of fun and hard.
