Purrfect Seating by johnbrynte

made by johnbrynte for Ludum Dare 37 (COMPO)
In Purrfect Seating you will take on the role of running a restaurant and seeing to the needs of your customers to make everyone feel happy... erh, I mean make profit in order to continue your life as a restaurant owner!
---
HOW TO PLAY
The game could not be finished in time :( but the current state hopefully shows what we had in mind and thus works like a proof of concept :)
Start by placing the tables in your restaurant. Maximize the number of seats!
Customers will come into your restaurant (bottom right) and expect to be attended. Click a group to see how many chairs they need and then select equally many chairs at a table. A group must sit at the same table.
If you are not happy with the arrangement of the groups you can put a group on hold by showing them to the waiting area (green).
If you REALLY are not happy with the arrangement of the groups (or the people in them) you can show a group to the exit (bottom left) to make them leave.
---
THE IDEA
Meet the needs of your guests to maximize their happiness and your profit.
A group might want to sit by the window, dislike loud sounds, prefer privacy, be allergic to nuts, have a phobia for bananas or be incontinent.
The placement of the tables and other furniture might affect how fast a waiter can move between a busy table without dropping the food.
If your customers are a pain in the neck you might want to shorten their visit, or cause a small "accident" for them...
And we would be very happy to hear your thoughts!

Probably spent more time playing this than I should have - really quite fun for a prototype, and I think the idea is great . The music is especially impressive!

SO what I gather is we just need to place them. Nice music and graphics.

Not sure on the goal, I fill up the tables but nothing happens. The pixel art is nice though.
