RAINWATER (is free) by yuigoto
Get your bucket, fill with water, fill the barrels, save $!
You're broke and you could only rent a small, one-room shack for you to stay. Turns out this place drips more water than a sponge during rain!
But hey, RAINWATER IS FREE WATER! And you just happen to have a bucket and some barrels lying around, so why not? Free water means less $ out of your poor empty wallet! :D
Basically:
Fetch water from drips and streams with your bucket;
Bucket is full (or almost)? Go to a barrel and empty your bucket so you can fetch more!;
Empty your bucket anywhere else and feel the pain of losing FREE WATER!;
A bucket holds a maximum of 30 units of water. A barrel holds 60 units of water.
How many barrels can you fill before the timer stops?

Beautiful music, cute character!
Overall though this is very well done and a nice little game-
@ObsessiveNotion: thanks! I spent quite some time thinking about the art and ended up hurrying it a bit, so it's kinda raw, but I'm pretty happy with the outcome :P
@stadoblech thanks! Great that you've enjoyed it!
@gtacker thanks, really! :) As I said above, I kinda hurried it a bit, so I'm kinda happy it ended up like this
@kidando thank you! It's not that much of an innovation, but I'm happy you think of the game like this! :)
@floetenmaul thanks! I kinda ended up doing some tutorials during LD, to see which one would fit best. Ended up using some concepts from Zack Bell's platforming tutorial :P
@thomz12 thanks! Really happy that you and more people liked them. :) I wish I could've spent more time polishing the gameplay and balancing more stuff, will do it in the post-jam version :P
@Moritz thanks! Yeah, I kinda ended up lazing for a bit on the gameplay part. Also, I shouldn't have spent so much time with transitions and positioning UI stuff. Happy you liked the music, kinda did it at the last minute :P
@Haddy22 thanks, for the comments on art + music, I kinda wanted to make it a bit relaxing (rain + some light music). Yeah, the game style is kinda cliché, but I kinda wanted to stay on solid ground, instead of doing something different, because of time :P Thanks for the comment and playing! :D
@tylerdoggone Thanks for playing and passing by! :D
@alfadur thanks! I kinda spent a lot of time with sfx, recording the rain here (almost dropped my phone in a bucket tho :P). I wanted to have this anticipation stuff for some things, but I admit I was a bit lazy in terms of balancing water :P
@Datamosh thanks for coming by and playing. Yeah, I kinda stood on something a bit cliché this time, instead of going different, wanted to make it more like a toy, rather than a game, next time (or maybe in a remake) I'll try something better :P
Cool arcade game, and with some online high-score board it could turn out quite addictive.
It's hard to make a strategy and jumping is kinda pointless, but the base is solid and the all the feedback are there.
Awesome job!
The gameplay was pretty simple and fun, but the graphics and audio quality really sell it, some great work here.

i think your this game have very awesome relax effect! the music and these water-sound really wonderful,they mix together so harmonic and match eachother well...
and i must to say i feel your pixel art and animation be more and more powerful and vivid! (the cover also these sprites..)really awesome,you have been making great progress.cool!
btw,there are also water-container and little boy in my entry this time...but the water-effect has not been effectively stressed,so your entry give me so much inspiration about this aspect.
also it let me feel very interesting about these similary elements within our entry.(whenever get similar situation like this,i always feel so excited!)
all in all, very happy to see you in this LD again(also hope i could finish my game as soon as possible..ToT )
happy new year my friend!
hope you get more progress with art and dev in 2017
Cheers.
Really enjoyed playing it! Nice entry!
Congratulations!
I wish there was a little noise when the bucket is full and that the player stopped a but more precise. Very addicting gamplay! Nice job!
Felt like a genius when I figured out the relation between falling scrap and water streams :D My best score: 141
The music is great, the graphics cute. Controls are really smooth.
Like it a lot!
