Now on to the minor nit picks: The character controller felt a bit floaty and there was a little jump every time I almost reached an edge of a platform. The jump ark felt very nice.
I am delighted to see what you can do after a half year of improvement!
I kinda liked the "floatiness" of the character, as it goes well with her design. It was a bit hard to know where to land on the platform tho.
A bit short but is a nice concept to keep exploring :)
I have just completed my playing and rating spree of everybodys game, thank you for all of the feedback you have given us, this game would not have been possible to do without my girlfriend doing all the heavy lifting of the art and character animations, this is our first game as a team and we are working on improving our skills in game development and will come back in the next ludum dare, this was an awesome first experience and we are hyped for more.
We know the game could have used more polish and we will try our best to make it look better next time, i will get rid of the floatiness in the controlls and remake the dialogue system as it was a nightmare to deal with, i lost almost a day just on fixing bugs for the dang thing, lots of lessons learned that will be improved on with the next project.
Thank you one more time for all the fun games and il see you next time!
However, when I participated in my first jam, people told me to keep the actual game below 5 minutes in order to make sure that people can experience the full game.
As such, you totally nailed it in my books - short, sweet with great artstyle, music and animations. Would play again, keep at it!
