Surreal experience, I noticed an item called something like "test_item_3" but other than that it was a clean experience from start to end. GG

Great game, maybe more than little weird, but in good way

I really don't know what to think about this game.

The story was really strange and twisted, I'm not sure if it has any meaning. I appreciate the originality, but I didn't really enjoy it. The story should be developed a bit more - it felt more like a few disjoint scenes rather than a continuous logical sequence. Also I think there should be some more puzzles.

The dialog text appeared too slowly for my taste, but at least there was an option to click through it. Also, one of the items was named "test_item_2", I suspect that was not intentional.

I liked the graphics, it was fitting for this style of game and participated in a creepy atmosphere.

Overall, I think this has potential for a certain type of audience. It is fairly unique in its style and can imagine a full game in this style with a deeper story.

You've done a good job, even if it's not my cup of tea

@uboretsky @doubleday @maslostvarohem Many thanks for your reviews guys!

@mvasko2 Thanks for detailed review! Yes, we agree, story is strange. But the main factor of this was a lack of time, so we couldn't just think it over completely, and therefore it reminds separate pieces of story. It as always - in your head it looks beautiful and completed, but when it's getting implementing - not all becomes the same :/

What a weird, original and fun way to bring out the theme!

I mostly getted what was your intention with story, and i can see how much effort you did to bring this concept. It's a lot twisted, but with the certain amount of heart - and mostly time - could became an outsdanding game.

The art style, character movement and sounds i liked very much! Kinda makes sense for this game.

but for sure the story and the progression of the game lacks some content. For an update, i would consider to rewrite the story to fill the gaps and trully express what you want.

Great work! I'll be waiting for an update ansiously.😀

Many things about this game are... interesting. Some uncanny. The walk of the character was definetely one of those, haha!
Made me chuckle, well done :)

What a peculiar experience! didnt really understand the meaning of the transformation into a pig, but would be interesting to find out! also the text printing speed was pretty slow, but thats just a minor thing. well done!

Nice and weirdly interesting story. The animation was a bit off-putting at first, but then I got it. Everything is nicely done, too bad the game is short, I want more!

Very surreal! The animation of turning into a pig piece-by-piece was very well done.

I got a few of the "test_items" that a few other folks have mentioned, and I'm not really sure how. They just popped into my inventory.

Interesting direction for the theme, and pretty neat aesthetic for the type of story being told! I think the main critique is just that the interactions felt a little arbitrary, felt a bit like I was randomly mashing left/right/123/e and then progressing the story accidentally, but it worked out well for a short little experience. Neat attempt to do a Kafka game! Great jumping off point.

Very weird game. I feel like the [story?] needs more development to really know what to think of it - as-is it's so short as to be merely a prelude. Understandable, given the jam timeframe!

Wow that was strange, but fun ! I had trouble understanding at first that if I select an item and interact, it uses the item, but other than that the mechanics were on point. The animation gives so much to the weirdness and the atmosphere of the game, and the graphics are perfect ! I'm not sure I understood the story, but that was fun !

Too shame that story ends on this moment... But overall that was so strange... and so interesting :)

Whaaat  super strange, but fun! The background music and sound effects really match and I like the art work. It's more a pitch or a teaser then a complete game, but I like it and I'd love to see more of it.

Somewhat reminded me on Franz Kafkas "Metamorphosis" (but I'm glad your game didn't end like that!)

Good stuff. Really enjoyed the nightmarish point and click aesthetic. Plus bonus, reached the deepest point in my soul today. How many people can say that?
