Damn, rude. Also, really hard to tell, when oxigen is on a level with you.

@drilling-fox yeah... that's a thing... we're trying to get it better... sorry to be rude lol

I liked the look of it. Had a bit of a time trying to figure out the controls, but once I got it was interesting. I would be interesting to have a little more verity to the tube. Possibly split and they the user choose a side every once in a while.

Would love to see something else than the oxygen and power. Nice graphics, ambiance and concept.

@embedder72 totally... the split idea would be great and give it more variety... also force the player to move around a bit more. Thank you so much for playing.

@stefgrizzly Thank you for playing! We talked about adding treasure... or fish to collect. Things to add variety and also get more points. Also wanted to add a Kraken tentacle to dodge... but time ran out and we shifted to polish and debugging.

Simple, good atmosphere and sounds. The play area could be bigger to make it more difficult. Solid game nonetheless :)

@mtwhateverest Thanks for checking it out. Yeah we wanted a bit of claustrophobia to kick in... but at the same time a larger space would yield more variety. I have a feeling we'll be tweaking this after Ludum Dare and share a "post launch" link if we get some of the feedback and things from our wishlist in.

For sure is different than the other games like our. It is unique because of its view. This is a nice piece of a game.

I liked the graphics. The sound, while simple, did help with the atmosphere.
I kept dieing because I ran out of fuel, even when there was no fuel to collect?
It was hard to guage how far away the pickups were, I kept finding myself trying to grab stuff that already passed. A larger window of time to grab and some more visual feedback would be nice.

Thanks @shaolin-dave - you're totally right. We have no real balancing on the pickups so you're at the mercy of the RNG.
It's subtle but the pickups will go to 50% opacity when you can no longer pick them up and they're "above" you.

Really enjoyed the calm nature of this game. I guess the goal is to move the least possible to save energy, which I didn't catch right away. Another way to make this more challenging faster would be to have debris rising up as well which would damage you. Overall, a neat idea.

Very very well put together, very simple but i think you really nailed it. Reached 4776/5000 Depth on my first play... could already see the ending... On to the next round! haha

Thanks @andrew-hoyer yes... debris or mines would be a great addition. I also had the idea of a Kraken tentacle that would come in from the side and try to swat you.

@grewoss awesome - thanks... would love to hear back from you if you were able to win... we've been getting conflicting reports about it being impossible due to resource shortages.

Nice game! The controls are tricky, but that adds a lot to the game, I like it. Both the graphics and the music fit together nicely. As mentioned before, it will be fun to have obstacles that player need to avoid.

Hey... @zimny11 @kotz @kszaku ..thank you so much for the feedback.
One thing we're looking at doing post LD is to add gamepad support and maybe some sort of tutorial hints about the controls. They were meant to be floaty... but can definitely feel a little funky if you're expecting to turn the ship rather than just point it in the direction you want to go.

A simple, yet enjoyable game. I like how the music is different for each playthrough. The music also really fits the atmosphere.

My two biggest critiques are that it can be difficult to tell when a tank is on the same level as the sub. You also run out of fuel very quickly, especially since fuel tanks spawn very infrequently and don't add much fuel to your sub.

Lovely simple game, liked the graphics and vibe of the descent. I see the comments on the mercy of the RNG, will be interesting to see what you do here if you take it forward. Perhaps some upgrades/items, turn off lights to save power etc. I took a similar (but far less polished route on my game) and can see the same future tweaks to make it really cool. Awesome job!
