Props to you for adding a tutorial!
Few things :
It tooks me a bit to figure out what character I was, maybe giving it more room to breath at the start of the level would have helped.
I find it hard to differentiate the "enemies" from the other things (apart from the shark maybe)
Good job!
- The game was super duper cute
- I liked the simple levels
- The music was super cute and not annoying
- The graphics were nice
- The only complaint is that the theme isn't really that visible
One of the things that could be improved is the visualization for the predators. The sharks are obviously dangerous, but the green eels fade into the background with the other fishes, especially since there is green seaweed with the same shape floating around. Use consistent colors/shapes for the things that are dangerous in your games.
If you want to make it easier for people to play your game, consider using itch.io and/or making a web version. It does not take very long if you know how to do it.
Overall very nice entry, I can see it being a classic web game back in the day.
(Oh and the bass dropping the deeper you go is a very nice touch :D)
