Salaberg Castle Special Easter Edition

​Salaberg Castle. The first known mention of the castle, is found on a document from 1282.

Salaberg has its origins in the first half of the 11th century, was rebuilt into a Renaissance castle in the 16th century and expanded in the 17th and 18th centuries. It was owned by monasteries, merchants, counts and alchemists, glamorous festivities were celebrated in the magnificent knights' hall. However, the centuries have left tremendous damage and due to the growing threat of the dragon dynasty native to the area, the castle was left and abandoned by its owners.

Unstoppably, the now uninhabited castle is being reclaimed by nature.
