Huge shoutout to my awesome team — we pulled off something really special in such a short time. The traditional art gives the game a unique charm, with that handmade feeling that brings everything to life. We had a blast making it, and we hope you'll have just as much fun playing it! \m/,(> . <)_\m/
Thanks for your game!

I didn't expect the game to be pinball at all from the description, but it was pretty fun. The circular gravity and fun obstacles give this a neat twist. Initially I expected to be able to move around more after your first launch, and you kind of can, but you move so little it might as well not be an option. Without that, or anything like the flippers in pinball, your score depends almost completely on your initial launch.
This isn't necessarily a problem, but since you can only see a tiny corner of the map before you launch, the game felt like an exercise in randomness. I would either let you see a full zoom-out of the map before you launch, or make your mid-air dash actually move you a decent amount. That way the player could feel more of a sense of control, which is always more fun.
Overall, a fun and zany entry!
I wish the click-and-drag launch had a little more oomph to it - it's a bit too hard to stay in play. This would probably benefit immensely from gamepad controls with analog stick support!
The graphics are adorable, I love the style here.
There's a ton going on here, I don't fully comprehend all of it. One time while setting up the launch trajectory a bunch of orange cheese spawned on top of me for no obvious reason. It's super chaotic but in a hilariously fun kind of way. I'm not sure understanding the mechanics would change my playstyle at all, so it's probably fine to just lean into it.
Would have been cool to get some stuff like multiball (unless it's there and I never hit it?)
Cool entry, nice work!
However, while it's nice to have some randomness and lack of control on some things, I find it too much here to really be fun. My best was about 1500 points, then on my next try, I got 5k points without feeling I deserved it in any way (I even got 500 points before my first launch because the cheese came right at the ship )
It's still a very good gamejam entry, but with a bit more work it would have been more fun imo :)
(And I know what I'm talking about, that's the same for our game )
It's a joy to just watch the black hole pinball machine in action, even without trying to interact. :)
Very well done! <3
On one attempt, while charging, I managed to hit a cheese and a lot of its cheese babies, and got in instant high score that I never beat with normal play:

Too much stuff...
Cheese, pizza, rockets, planets, stars, space, more cheese, alien jellyfish, eclairs, cupcakes, alien pineapples, black holes, more cheese and more... (@,@)
Hard to take in...
Jellyfish-aliens do not jump well, there is a desire to make a bigger push.
But otherwise it is funny :)
