I really like the concept, the visual style, and the inclusion of a shop—very cool!
I didn’t expect such a surge of enemies on the second day haha
Awesome entry, the vibe was on point, with a feeling of old arcade games, but with beeautiful modern graphics. And everything is super reactive as well, great job :)

As some already mentioned, the shooting feels awesome and the artstyle is amazing. I personally liked the resemblance with Alien Hominid, that kind of marked my childhood :)
The game is not only complete but also features a system of upgrades and even a store, which seems a lot to me for three days O.O
The only thing that I felt a bit off was that I couldn't figured how damaged was the antenna (maybe I missed something?)... Also, I didn't understand the role of the satellite. I could hit it but I didn't know if it was suffering any damage.
I wish I had more control over the weapons, because once you pick a box, you can’t switch back, and maybe I liked the old ones better.
The aliens are really funny, and the music is nice.
I wish the roller would attack, and the meteorites too.
The 50% damage buff looks overpowered, and it’s not very clear what the items in the shop actually do for me.
I loved the addition of the random cosmetics shop!!! And the energetic music
All in all great entry!
The game length of one run is well chosen.
The introduction is short but effective and the little story you put in fits perfectly.
I like the feature at the end, that you can buy stuff for visual appeal.
The overall graphics look nice.
Sadly I could not finish the game as it began to lag more and more with every passing wave (Firefox on Windows if that helps) and at some point it became uncontrollable.
Only issue for me is that it was a bit too repetitive and easy... I think if it was just 3 days instead of 5, it would be perfect!
One feedback I have is that the waves are really too easy (and sometimes repetitive), maybe less waves and a few more changes between days would make it more fresh. All weapons hit like a truck, and don't get me wrong, the game feel is amazing, there is lots of juice, even the enemy explosions and different death animations are beautiful, and it all kept me going, but after day 3 I thought "will this loop eternally?". I noticed that new enemies kept appearing, though, so something WAS different after all. The other thing that kept me going was the shop, I wanted to buy a new TV and the birb.
The meteor section was okay, it felt like smashing cars in street fighter, a bonus to get your money. The theme implementation was great story-wise, but not really entangled to the gameplay. Overall, I think this game is an impressive entry, short of being perfect just due to some kinks here and there, like difficulty, variation and maybe leaning a bit more on the signal as a core part of the game. Nevertheless, you two did a really amazing job.
out of 50 games that I have rated here, yours in the top 3 for now 👍👍👍

You can see a taste of the attention to detail here, but it was EVERYWHERE.
At first I thought this game would just be a nice super-juiced blast-fest but then there were all these different scene changes, wave, rain, upgrade, and then later chill. That outer-level loop was a really nice delivery vehicle for the moment-to-moment gameplay, and breaking it up that way went prevented it from wearing out too quickly. The nice progression of different enemy types also really helped, and then the slick boss fight adding some bullethell was a nice cherry on top to really complete the experience.
All around super nice with great gameplay, art, and sound. Really well done!
(Maybe throwing a meteor shower AND alien swarm at the same time might bring some fun, panic inducing gameplay)
Really satisfying shooting down all the aliens. I liked all the weapons, I just wish I could tell which one I was about to pick up next - though they all seemed around the same power level so this doesn't matter too much.
Wasn't expecting the boss - great surprise!
Other than that, it’s a fun game. The theme feels only loosely connected through the narrative, so it gets a small point for that.
There seemed to be some sort of lagspike when reaching the end of day 3 - it seemed to me to be the bullets from the "big bullet gun" that maybe didnt despawn when going off screen - because suddenly the game became very laggy - but other than that - almost 5/5 in everything from me!
So incredible for your first jam!
(also, nice work posting on reddit, thats how I found your game)
Но, в любом случае, молодцы. В начале было интересно.
One complaint I have is pressing 'done' has a significant delay (later I realized there's an animation in the background) that felt very unresponsive.

Thanks for sharing your insights in the comments! Love the approach to game design, very inspiring stuff said! Didn't know about 'Art of Screenshake', my approach/ thought-process is "mimic movies & animation" (exaggerate effects, visualize motion) because they have it nailed down ages ago.
I think you're on the right track, good luck!
