⚠️ The Situation
You thought tonight was the romantic encounter of a lifetime?
Wrong. This is a date hiding an SOS signal—and the "lover" sitting across from you is a serial killer.
She's watching your every move.
- Your fries. * Your wine glass. * Your fork. These are your only tools. Use them to secretly flash a signal to the waiter before it's too late.
And remember: Obey her. Don't let her catch you slipping.

How to Play
- Assemble the Signal: Hold the left mouse button and drag the fries. Spell S–O–S on the plate. Do it quietly.
- Create a Distraction: Click the wine glass to knock it over. Make it look like an accident.
- Signal for Help: Click the fork to let it drop to the floor.
- Timing is Everything: When the waiter comes near—grab their attention and keep it.
- Survival: Click her to interact and buy yourself a few more seconds. Every second counts.

Dev Note
Apologies—time ran short, and we couldn't pack in everything we had planned. If you play it and drop a review, that's fuel for us! We'll upload a patched, better version soon. The game contains no AI-generated content.
Thank you for playing.

Game Guides and Tips
The game has three different endings.
Good Ending Condition: The required server attention level must be >40%, and the SOS must already be assembled. You must ring the bell exactly when the server arrives.
🕵️ Spoiler Tips (Click to expand)
!>• Watch her eyes: The player can take advantage of the moment when she looks down to eat to do something, so she won’t see them.
!>• Precision matters: Just moving the fries isn't a big deal. However, if placed in the right spot, it will detect whether she is looking at it and decide whether to deduct patience points.
!>• Ghost image: There is a faint image of “SOS” made of fries on the plate. Try to find fries that are exactly same, or at least look very similar, to successfully match them.
!>• The Waiter Strategy: Players should try to knock over the water glass or drop the fork when the server arrives to increase their attention level.

Cute game, good art, would have loved to see where else you'd go with it!
1. Rush the fries first thing. (She drains patience if she sees you.)
2. Once it's spelled, spam the bell.
Anyway, thank you so much for playing and for your review!
Anyway, thanks a lot for playing and for your review!

What an amazing work! The music is so expressive, and the part where it gradually deteriorates towards the end is truly stunning! The art is also very beautiful!

Some bugginess with the click-and-drag machanics for me, but that's the kind of jank that comes with the jam territory, no big deal. My main critique would really just be conveying the goal - I had to come to the comments to fully understand what I was meant to do. "Send an SOS to waiter" is mentioned and that's a good start, but I didn't grasp that I was fulfilling two conditions, both the message and the alerting of the waiter with other actions. I was a bit confused as to why my message wasn't being noticed the next time they were passing by the table. Maybe this could just do with one more meter on the side along with Patience and Suspicion, showing visible Waiter Alertness?
On the other hand, this game nails the atmosphere. It starts strong with a lot of attention paid to the main menu, that's awesome (and a great pause menu too). And then there's something about most of the window being taken up with your view of Lanita in full colour, while the person you really want to communicate with is confined to a small dark box in the corner, showing up briefly and then leaving you hanging over and over... You genuinely feel the helplessness and sense of impending doom. It seems like you hit EXACTLY what you wanted with the vibe, and that's super impressive on this timescale.
Thanks for the game!
Regarding the guidance on getting the waiter's attention, we did include a note about it at the very beginning. However, we may have prioritized blending the guidance text with the narrative to enhance the sense of exploration, which inadvertently made that information less clear for some players.
We will actively look for ways to improve the experience in the upcoming version!Thank you a lot!
Our original plan was to include more guidance and mechanics—for example, the lettuce actually had a purpose, you were supposed to ring a bell to signal the waiter to replace your cutlery, and the stats would have included annotations and different visual effects. Unfortunately, due to time constraints and our lack of experience, we weren’t able to implement these features. However, we’ll be making these improvements in future updates! Have a great day!
Some pain points:
I didn't quite get how to get the waiter's attention at first, so when I'd finally written SOS, i just kinda sat around. The mechanic with her looking away could also use some extra player feedback, so we understand that it has a mechanical impact. Stuff that feels painfully obvious to the creators tends to be missed!
Sometimes I dropped fries only to see that they neeearly matched with the intended shape, but not completely. I think the fry placement could use some work, as that part of the game feels a little tedious.
You should be really happy with the submission! Such a polished and interesting game in such a small timeframe is no small feat!
Yes, it really felt like there wasn’t enough time. We were extremely stressed and anxious during the final few hours because we only had one programmer, and the workload was overwhelming. As a result, we weren’t able to implement many of the player feedback mechanisms and art/sound assets that we had already completed. Fortunately, we were at least able to submit a basic version in time for the competition. We’ll continue to refine and optimize the game in future updates!
However, I think the point you raised about the shape of the french fries is a good one. At first, we only considered that similar-looking fries could stick together, but we forgot that we could have drawn them all in a uniform shape from the start. I think this would indeed help reduce the tedium of searching for items for players. Thank you again for your comment, and I wish you all the best!
This is incredible… how is it this fun? As the character’s patience drops, even the music changes—the whole atmosphere shifts completely. It genuinely had me on edge and really pulled on my emotions. Absolutely amazing.
The gameplay is outstanding too—sending distress signals to the waiter, arranging fries, using the fork to tap the wine glass… all of these interactions are super creative. And those little touches when patience gets low, like the protagonist occasionally prompting you to clink glasses or feed her, are just *chef’s kiss*. The art and sound design speak for themselves—flawless. The HUD layout and overall UI composition are also very clean and comfortable.
If I had to point out one small downside, it’s that the tutorial guidance felt a bit weak. On my first playthrough, I didn’t read the web description and assumed the waiter’s attention had to be fully maxed out, so I kept wondering why I was stuck between 48 and 49 lol. I also didn’t notice the wine glass or the fork at first—it was only after reading the page that I realized how the mechanics actually worked.
Honestly, this feels like a miracle. Getting to play something this good—no regrets even if I died after this.
服务员数值这部分我们之后会调整的,实在来不及测试打磨了555
It just lacked a bit of a challenge. I lost the first time because I started throwing forks around, ringing the bell, and hiding plate under a leaf. The second time, I just calmly and methodically put the fries together the right way, and that was it.
Really cool entry, congrats on making this for the jam
Art style is insane, super stylish and memorable. Music and atmosphere hit really hard too, especially when things start getting intense — you really feel like you're about to mess up at any second.
Gameplay is simple but in a good way, though it took me a bit to fully get what exactly I should be doing and how the waiter interaction works. Once it clicked, it became way more fun.
Overall, very оригинально and атмосферно, great job — this one really stands out from other jam games 👍
i posted the word "sos," but I still couldn't get a waiter... i probably didn't fully understand what was required of me, but it was fun!
另外能在这里看到日和的梗真的是会心一笑
The game’s art style and overall tone blend perfectly together, offering an incredibly immersive playthrough. Especially when your patience drops, the originally soothing BGM warps and fills with distorted noise, which cranks up the immersion to the fullest.
The UI design is also cohesive and pleasant. All settings and buttons are cleverly integrated with the game’s own visual elements, creating a harmonious overall presentation.
I didn’t fully understand the mechanics on my first run. I kept setting up the SOS signal and knocking over cups and forks repeatedly, wondering why the staff never noticed me—and ended up unlocking the bad ending, haha. It was only on my second playthrough that I realized I needed to alert them the moment they arrive.
Overall, this is an incredibly satisfying experience!
I desperately want the full version right away. Please add more cool, stylish lady characters, I’m begging you OTZ.
I however didn't really understand how to win, I managed to do the SOS but then I couldn't get the attention of the waiter
Love the art, super expressive and kinda unhinged in a good way
If you decide to do posjam, consider adding some hints of menace behind this girl because I felt no motivation to spoil this nice dinner :D
Oh my god, the art, the illustrations, the character design, the UI!!!! This hits all the right spots for me!
